What is EB- 1A?
"Extraordinary aliens" (EB- 1A for short), also known as "talents with special skills", means "one of the few top figures with excellent professional ability". According to the immigration law, applicants who wish to immigrate to the United States through the "outstanding talents" clause must prove that they meet the following conditions at the same time:
(1) The applicant has special skills in the fields of science, art, education, business or sports; Widely recognized; Make a difference; Enjoy national or international reputation and achievements, and their achievements and contributions have reached the peak in this field. The applicant is regarded as one of the outstanding figures in this field.
(2) Once the applicant obtains a green card through the "Outstanding Talents" clause, he will continue to work in his field in the United States (he intends to continue to work in this field in the United States);
(3) The applicant's job will bring great benefits to the relevant development of American society.
Advantages of EB- 1A project:
1. Short cycle and low cost;
2. No need to find an employer, no age and education restrictions;
3. The whole family (oneself, spouse, children under 2 1 one year old) can apply for a green card;
4. Go directly to the United States to enjoy the rights and interests of permanent residents.
5. Enjoy free public services;
6. Children can enter American public schools for free and enjoy the same education as American children.
EB- 1A Main criteria for outstanding talents:
1. The applicant has won one or more major internationally renowned awards;
Generally speaking, Nobel Prize, Oscar Award, Olympic medals or trophies, or major international inventions and creations all belong to the category of major internationally renowned awards.
In addition, the immigration law provides a relatively loose measure to define whether an applicant is an "outstanding talent". Applicants can apply for "outstanding talents" immigration as long as they prove that they meet any three of the following ten standards stipulated in the immigration law.
"National or international awards"
Members of professional associations

As an individual or a member of the jury, judge and evaluate the works in his professional field;
In this field, he has made original and original contributions to academic research or art;

Commercial success in performance and art;
In addition to proving that he is an "outstanding talent", the applicant must meet two other conditions stipulated in the immigration law in order to obtain the "outstanding talent" green card, namely: first, after obtaining the "outstanding talent" green card, the applicant will continue to work in his field in the United States; Second, its work will bring practical benefits to the United States.
All "outstanding talents" do not need to apply for a work permit, nor do they need employer support and permanent job commitment. Therefore, as long as they meet the criteria of "outstanding talents", applicants can submit their own immigration applications. No matter whether the applicant is in the United States, China or other countries, as long as he can prove that he will continue to work in related fields after entering the United States, such as letters from prospective employers, specific future work plans or other relevant evidence, he can submit an application for "outstanding talents" immigration. At the same time, the applicant can change jobs at will after submitting the application for "outstanding talents" immigration, as long as the new job is in the applied professional field. In addition, while waiting for the "outstanding talent" green card to be approved, applicants can also submit other types of immigration applications, such as EB-2 national interest exemption.

Success stories:
Client: Mr. Liu, a boxer.
He won a boxing medal in China National Games and served as the head coach of a boxing club in a certain city. He led students to participate in the martial arts competition held by CCTV, and achieved good results. He also participated in some famous boxing competitions in America.
Handling situation:
Mr. Liu is an old customer of ours. He consulted our EB- 1A application as early as 20 10. Although Mr. Liu is already a famous boxer in China, his award is limited in China and his international popularity is not high. So we suggest that he can win more prizes and increase his exposure first. Then, at our suggestion, Mr. Liu, as his head coach, participated in the Wushu competition organized by CCTV, an internationally renowned TV station, on behalf of the students and won the prize, and was interviewed by CCTV. During his stay in the United States, he participated in a boxing match organized by the New York State Government, and achieved very good results, and was interviewed by local American television stations. Although Mr. Liu's materials are not very strong compared with many applicants, he finally got I- 140 through the advice and packaging given to him by our law firm.
