With the rapid development of social economy and network technology, the informatization of petroleum geological data should also keep up with the development process, otherwise its service quality will directly affect the process of geological work. In petroleum enterprises and institutions, geological archives and geological reference rooms have kept a large number of original, physical and achievement geological data. Petroleum geological archives are valuable achievements of all kinds of petroleum geological work and exploration and development activities, and are the guarantee to complete the task of crude oil production. "A clever woman can't cook without rice", geologists can only design the most accurate well location, formulate the most effective measures and create the greatest economic benefits if they have sufficient geological data. This paper analyzes the present situation of basic geological archives management and the geological archives needed by frontline geologists, and puts forward some ideas and countermeasures for information management of basic geological data, so as to strengthen the information service of basic geological data.

1 current situation and characteristics of basic petroleum geological archives management

1. 1 storage conditions and basic working conditions of petroleum geological archives

The big file of petroleum geological data is in the base, and the front line is far from the base. Some first-line units need two or three hours to drive. As the main body of geological work, frontline geologists seldom borrow materials from the base archives, which also causes a waste of resources. Geological archives that can be consulted by grassroots geologists are mainly grassroots archives rooms, geological reference rooms and various production departments. The geological data stored in the front file room and reference room are crossed. Due to historical reasons, there are many old wells and early development materials in the archives; In the later development, the reference room is relatively complete, and each production department also has some geological data, such as perforation data, development plan, various profiles, etc.

1.2 Utilization Status of Petroleum Geological Archives

Petroleum geological work is repeated. A geological data will be used for a long time, and the management of grassroots archives will be strict, and it will be urged to return it regularly, and the use will be limited. Most of the managers in the geological reference room are part-time, without strict procedures, people can go in and out at will, the data storage is chaotic, the arrangement is irregular, and there is a phenomenon of data loss. First-line geologists will spend a certain amount of time collecting these data for a job, which often leads to the phenomenon that geological data are not enough. It is common to consult geological data in basic archives, and there are many vacancies in oil testing data in recent years.

1.3 Digitization Status of Petroleum Geological Archives

In 2008, when the state conducted an inventory of geological data, all the geological data had been digitized, but the text content, tables and drawings in the geological data were not digitized. After that, the archives continued to digitize the newly generated geological data and established an oil and gas exploration and development library in the digital archives system. Geologists can retrieve all the information stored in the archives through the archives system. Since then, the geological reference room has basically interrupted the description of the entries, and the entries have no real platform, but are stored in the computer of the department in the form of Excel tables, which has unstable security risks. Although the consulting time is saved to a certain extent, the original drawings are still used in actual geological work.

1.4 development and utilization status of petroleum geological data system

After investigation, grassroots geologists know little about the national geological data system and Sinopec's geological data system. Although the digital system of Zhongyuan Oilfield Archives Management Office has established users for them, they only use it under the reminder of archivists and have no awareness of online inquiry. The basic concept of grassroots geologists is still in the state of looking for information in person, and the geological system developed by various grassroots geological units is highly utilized. They are designed by themselves according to the needs of work, and their functions are relatively simple, and they are basically in a semi-automatic state when working. The comprehensive curve of single well is drawn by software, the logging notice is expressed by Excel, and the geological plan is compiled by word. There are also self-developed daily newspaper systems and data query systems, all of which have their own uses. There is no digital geological system with high technical content, integrity and complete functions that is unified with petroleum geological work.

1.5 present situation of compilation and research of petroleum geological data

The comprehensive research, excavation and development of petroleum geological archives have basically not been carried out. The compilation and research of geological archives in grass-roots archives room is almost blank.

1.6 Status of petroleum geological data service

The digitization of basic geological archives is low, and there is little research on the demand of grassroots geologists, and the construction of service plan and service feedback mechanism is not in place.

2 the actual demand of basic petroleum geological data

2. 1 There is a great demand for petroleum geological data.

To design a new well location, it is necessary to compare and analyze the combination maps and results tables of more than a dozen wells around. The last measure is to analyze the casing data, cementing quality and completion report of the well; Every job needs a lot of geological data to do basic work.

2.2 The actual demand for petroleum geological data is very extensive.

The measures of a well require a comprehensive understanding of all the conditions of the well, such as drilling data, logging data, oil testing data and laboratory data, and the requirements for geological data types are also complete.

2.3 The actual demand for petroleum geological data is very detailed.

There are dozens of small layers on the result table; There are one or two hundred deviation data in the horizontal projection diagram of deviation; Oil testing data should also be divided into many small layers, and the geological data required by the grassroots are also very detailed.

2.4 The actual demand for petroleum geological data is deep.

Studying underground structures through seismograms; Through stratigraphic correlation of combined maps, the requirements of basic geologists for geological data are also very in-depth.

2.5 Petroleum geological data need the digitization of original geological data.

Geologists need a large number of original drawings, tables and digital contents of various achievements in practical work, which can be obtained from practical work at any time, and can be obtained through the network platform in a short time when a large amount of information is needed.

2.6 Petroleum geology workflow needs to be digitized.

Simple, such as issuing records and plans, no longer need to run errands manually; Relatively complex, such as the design of various well profiles, is completely out of the manual and semi-automatic state, and can make and print all-round three-dimensional profiles from the computer at will. Simulate and set the well position at will on the computer, display the effect of the drilled horizon, and select the best well position.

2.7 Petroleum geologists need practical and useful geological research results.

For example, the compilation of well location coordinates is to compile all wells drilled in the same block over the years, complete the compilation of geological foundation, and serve scientific research projects and geological production.

3. Ideas and countermeasures of informatization of basic petroleum geological archives

3. 1 Establish a clustering information platform for basic petroleum geological data.

It is feasible to implement clustering and digitalization within the work scope of grassroots petroleum geologists, so that resources can be shared. From the development of a region to the present, petroleum geological work has been completed by many units, which have produced a large number of petroleum geological data. There are six relatively independent blocks in the large block of our oil production plant, and the geological data related to this block should be clustered in this area, so that the geological data can give full play.

3. 1. 1 All wells in this area must be integrated.

Because of the restructuring of units, some units once belonged to different units at different stages, and the geological data will be in different files, so they should be handed over in time. As long as it is a developed well, whether it is used or not, it must be guaranteed to be complete. Up to now, there are 106 1 wells in our area, and some early exploratory wells have not been developed. Without reserve data, geologists can only look at the well and sigh.

3. 1.2 The result data of a well must be collected completely.

The working process of each well is different. Early exploration wells generally include completion geological summary report, comprehensive logging chart, oil well handover book, casing record, horizontal projection chart of well deviation, cementing quality chart, oil test summary, oil test log and water quality analysis report, while later development wells are more, especially logging data.

3. 1.3 The well history of a well must be collected.

The whole drilling process of a well has basic data (drilling time; Well depth, displacement and horizon, etc. ), drilling time, mud, accident report and summary should be collected.

3. 1.4 Digitization of geological data words, drawings and tables

All wells are truly digitized according to well numbers, all geological data and all work processes, so that geologists don't have to spend time looking for all kinds of data, but spend all their energy and time on analysis and production.

3. 1.5 Make the most adequate compilation and research materials.

According to the actual needs of petroleum geologists, the compilation and research work can meet the needs of grassroots geologists and greatly improve their work efficiency.

3.2 Information management ideas in the process of basic petroleum geological archives work.

3.2. 1 Establish a digital system that matches the basic petroleum geological work.

The original small petroleum geological systems developed by similar grass-roots units with relatively high technical content and practicability are connected in series like pearls, forming a relatively complete petroleum geological file information system within the grass-roots scope.

3.2.2 In the process of digitalization of geological archives, special databases for different purposes are established to realize personalized service.

Organize and process geological data and establish a special database; Thematic databases can be used for thematic analysis, such as daily oil production database, well deviation database, operation summary database, comprehensive data database and reserve database.

3.2.3 Use modern theories, methods and technologies to carry out secondary development of petroleum geological data.

Carry out comprehensive analysis and research, improve the research level of previous petroleum geological work, revitalize all kinds of petroleum geological data, greatly improve the utilization level and efficiency of geological data, provide extensive services for oilfield development, and provide basic technical support for enterprise economic planning and management.

3.2.4 Digitization of petroleum geology workflow

There are many kinds of petroleum geological work, many stages of work, and the work flow is very detailed. The working process of oil production plant includes designing well location, production geological scheme, issuing logging notice, making comprehensive curve, etc. To realize modernization, it is necessary to digitize geological schemes, geological logging notices, comprehensive curves and stratigraphic correlation, so that frontline geologists can use digital original texts and digital workflow on computers. Every step and link of the work can be digitized from reading data, drawing profiles, analyzing strata and surrounding block wells, and petroleum geological work can be really promoted quickly by taking the network high-speed channel.

3.3 Establish basic geological data information service network and strengthen quality supervision.

3.3. 1 basic geological data information service network construction

Gradually establish a geological data service website within the scope of frontline geologists, improve the geological data service query system with different demand levels, and build a communication bridge with frontline geologists to understand the needs, collect opinions, and form a personalized user interface according to the needs of various petroleum geologists through investigation. Actively develop and establish a perfect geological data network service system and broaden service channels.

3.3.2 Establish necessary departments to supervise the quality of information management of petroleum geological data.

This is a long-term uninterrupted supplementary maintenance process. Through the collection of geological archives from the source, to the whole process of work, and then to the formation of new geological archives, a virtuous circle is formed on the network, which makes the grassroots geological work more efficient and accurate. Leading departments and authoritative and representative experts should coordinate and guide the informatization work, do a good job in the informatization development planning of grassroots petroleum geological data, increase the intensity of informatization, and make the information service of petroleum geological data develop in an orderly manner.

In the management of petroleum geological archives, we should improve the construction and management of petroleum geological data resources according to the present situation and actual needs of basic geological archives, realize the unification and standardization of geological data, build a modern software and hardware supporting environment for storage and management, and promote the development and utilization of original geological data and physical geological data. Through the network, build a perfect working platform for the main business of petroleum geology.
