Zhou Yong, Executive Deputy Minister of Propaganda Department of Chongqing Municipal Committee, Director of Party History Research Office of Chongqing Municipal Committee, and Director of the Office of Coordination Group for Historical and Cultural Work in the Anti-Japanese War Rear Area.

He is also a member of the Standing Committee of Chongqing Municipal People's Congress, vice chairman of Chongqing Social Science Federation, consultant of Chongqing Science and Technology Advisory Group, president of Chongqing Local History Research Association and director of Chongqing China Anti-Japanese War Home Front Research Center. China is a leader in modern history, a professor at Southwest University, a doctoral supervisor, and one of the first experts in Chongqing who enjoy the special government allowance from the State Council.

He has been engaged in the research and teaching of China Marxist theory, modern history of China, history of China Party and informatization for a long time. His works include: Documentary Series on the Second Sino-US Cooperation, Historical Research Series of China Nanfang Bureau, Research on Hongyan Spirit, History of Southwest Anti-Japanese War, General History of Chongqing, History of Chongqing Anti-Japanese War and other monographs, Building a Marxist Position on the Internet, and Several Basic Problems in the Research of Hongyan Spirit.
