Before 2000, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty pacified South Vietnam, established Hepu County, and started foreign trade with Hepu as the starting port. Silk, ceramics and tea set sail from Hepu Port in exchange for colored glass, precious stones, spices and ivory, which is called the Maritime Silk Road. Tea produced in Daliangshan, Liuhu Lake, Beihai, first went out to sea for sailors to drink, and then gradually became the main Hayes commodity and the earliest exported tea in China, so it was called Hayes ancient tea.
The Maritime Silk Road is the "Belt and Road". The Maritime Silk Road has a long voyage, from Guhepu Port to Persia, and it takes three years to go back and forth. It crossed the vast sea, flew over Daiyue, experienced a struggle, and overcame difficulties, obstacles, time and stormy waves.
Hayes ancient tea is a specialty of Beihai, which is produced in Liuhu Daliangshan, Beihai, and was called Liuhu ancient tea in ancient times. In the 16th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, Hayes ancient tea was presented to the court as a special product of Guangdong. Empress Dowager Cixi was very happy after drinking it, and wrote the inscription "Rich Changchun" for later generations. Nanhai Xiaolong girl has a beautiful legend of "a box of silver tea and a box of silver". The poem of Hayes ancient tea written by Guo Tianying, the 12th generation descendant of Hayes ancient tea, is a classic describing the ancient tea culture on the Maritime Silk Road. Guo Xiaoge and Tang Qingguo published The Study of Hayes Ancient Tea Culture, which was the earliest document to systematically explore and study Hayes ancient tea culture.
