The School of Economics of Shanghai University is committed to building a "domestic first-class and internationally renowned high-level research-oriented economic college", and scientific research is an important engine for the development of the college. The center closely follows the forefront of service economy theory and brings service economy research into the theoretical and empirical analysis framework of modern mainstream economics. Using the principles and methods of microeconomics, macroeconomics, industrial economics, international trade and other related disciplines, this paper studies the applicability of western service economy theory in China, and based on the results of theoretical research and empirical test, initially constructs a theoretical framework of service economy with China characteristics. At the same time, dynamically grasp the development status and trends of the world and China's service economy and service trade, pay attention to related hot issues, study the internal laws, personality, characteristics, existing problems and solutions of China's service economy development, adopt advanced research methods and means, and carry out multi-level and multi-angle thematic research in time, with a view to providing policy suggestions and ideas for China's service economy development.

In recent years, the Center * * * has undertaken six national projects and more than one provincial project 10, published more than 40 papers in domestic and foreign high-level academic journals such as Managing the World, Finance and Trade Economy, Statistical Research, Reform, International Trade Issues and World Economic Research, and won five provincial scientific research awards. Established in April 2005, Shanghai University Financial Information Research Center (SHHFIRC) is an interdisciplinary research institution that relies on the School of Economics of Shanghai University and focuses on academic research and application exploration in the fields of financial information system, financial information monitoring and evaluation, and financial information management. SHHFIRC studies the financial crisis caused by the characteristics of financial information, such as nonlinearity, chaos, mutation, self-organization and irreducibility, by taking advantage of interdisciplinary subjects. This paper studies the application theory of statistical indicators of financial information to monitor and explain financial pricing. Aiming at the problem of network information, this paper studies new theories and methods of financial information collection, identification and analysis. In addition, SHHFIRC also pays close attention to academic discussions and applied research related to the emerging financial market mechanism and trading system in China; Closely follow up and study the problems faced in the construction of Shanghai International Financial Center, and strive to throw a brick to attract jade for the construction of Shanghai International Financial Center.
