After reading Huangdi Neijing-Lingshu-Shi Zhuan, I suddenly realized.
Qi Bo said: husband's heat leads to malnutrition, stomach heat leads to fever, which makes people anxious and hungry. The skin above the navel is hot, the intestinal heat is yellow as milk, and the navel is cold with skin. Stomach cold leads to abdominal distension, intestinal cold leads to bowel sounds, diarrhea, stomach cold, intestinal heat leads to bloating, intestinal cold leads to hunger, minor abdominal pain and abdominal distension.
People with indigestion due to stomach heat are suitable for cold therapy, and those with internal cold are suitable for hyperthermia. Stomach heat, fast digestion of food, makes people feel suspended, often hungry, and the skin above the navel is hot. When the intestine is hot, the feces discharged are like erosive porridge, and the skin below the navel is cold.
Stomach cold leads to bloating; When the intestines are cold, there will be sounds, loose stools and indigestible food residues.
Abdominal distension and diarrhea caused by stomach cold and intestinal heat;
When the stomach is hot and the intestine is cold, I always feel hungry and my lower abdomen hurts.
In the past, more attention was paid to Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Synopsis of the Golden Chamber and related classics, while Neijing was neglected. Rereading Neijing, I found that mastering Neijing is a shortcut to mastering medicine. Although Zhang Zhongjing was the inventor of Neijing, Neijing also played an important role in outlining the theory of typhoid fever. The two should not be neglected, but should strive to achieve mastery through a comprehensive study.
Stomach heat will eliminate the valley, stomach cold will abdominal distension, which can be described as a simple road. Seeing abdominal distension and blaming stagnation of liver qi actually ignores the most important dialectical principle of yin and yang.
There are also complicated situations such as stomach cold and intestinal heat, stomach heat and intestinal cold, and other physical symptoms. Only using a single method may gain temporary benefits, but it may also cause other syndromes, which cannot be prevented.
I used to treat bloating. I often add or subtract Bupleurum, Fructus Aurantii Pill and Wei Ping Powder, which are very effective in many cases. When I am secretly happy, my thinking is also rigid. Occasionally, if the effect is not good, I think it is the patient's reason.
This has caused me a lot of thinking. Although there is a treatment idea of "treating diseases with medicine and treating diseases well", we must first distinguish between yin and yang cold and heat. Many theories in Neijing that distinguish yin and yang from cold and heat deserve attention. After all, the prescription is just a tactic, and Yin and Yang are the tactics, so there is no need to make directional mistakes to distinguish them. After the stomach is full, add some warm drugs appropriately, and the effect will be more obvious.
For the classics of traditional Chinese medicine, we should read them at room temperature, combine with reality, think more and understand more.
