British poet, political commentator, bourgeois revolutionary activist and representative of revolutionary literature. Born in a wealthy Puritan family in London, he loved literature since childhood. He entered Cambridge University from 65438 to 0625, and began to write poems, including Song of Christmas Morning, Sisters' Happy People and Meditating People, Elegy Lycidas and so on. After the outbreak of the British revolution, he stood on the side of the revolutionary Puritans and published political papers such as On Freedom of the Press, Defending the British People and Defending the British People Again, which boosted morale.
