The "Hejin Sakura" on Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture is the first cherry blossom in Honshu Island, Japan that brings the information of flowers to people. It is a naturally grafted variety of "Oshima Sakura" and "Hanfei Sakura" which bloomed earlier, and it is named because it is concentrated in "Hejinchuan" in Shizuoka Prefecture. It opens around February 10 every year, with large petals, beautiful flowers and pink colors, and is known as a "landscape poem" of Izu Peninsula. It is different from "outshine others" Yoshino Sakura. The flowering period of "Hejin Sakura" is as long as one month. Visitors can take a short break along the Hejin River, wander freely in the sea of flowers, and appreciate and feel the feminine style of Hejin Sakura. The last flowering was in Hokkaido, Japan. Cherry blossoms bloom from south to north and then from north to east every year, and the best viewing period is from May to early June. The most representative is "Yi Shu Mountain Sakura", which is more distinctive and imposing than "Yoshino Sakura" in Honshu and other regions, and it is thick pink or even thin red, while the white "Xia Ying Sakura" and the cold-resistant "Thousand Island Sakura" with late flowering period are also cherry blossoms with Hokkaido customs.
Japanese love cherry blossoms and are more willing to appreciate them. It is said that cherry blossom viewing has a history of more than 500 years in Japan, and this tradition is called "flower room" in Japanese. Every year in the cherry blossom season, people all over the country get the latest information about flowering through radio, television, internet, newspapers and other media, choose a good day and invite friends and relatives to enjoy cherry blossoms. If you don't walk or sit still under the cherry trees like a forest and enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms, you really can't feel the immersive intoxication, and it's hard to understand why the Japanese like it.
Every cherry blossom season, the Japan Meteorological Agency takes "Sakura Yoshino" as the object, tracks and observes the flowering situation in various places, and predicts the flowering date, which is the so-called "Sakura Frontline". The so-called "Cherry Blossom Frontline" is to use meteorological terms to connect places with the same flowering period into a "Cherry Blossom Frontline" similar to the barometric front line to predict the flowering period of cherry blossoms. It can be said that this has become an indispensable information indicator for the cherry blossom viewing activities in Japan. In newspapers and websites, there are also good-hearted people who publish or post their latest information or photos online every day for people's reference according to the classification of cherry blossoms in Japan. The "cherry blossom front" generally advances from south to north, from coastal areas to inland areas, and from lowlands to mountainous areas. The blooming state of cherry blossoms can be roughly divided into eight stages: "budding, initial blooming, five separation, seven separation, blooming, beginning to wither, opening and closing". These are all indispensable information in Japan's "Flower Fair" activities.
From the beginning to the full bloom of cherry blossoms, the Japanese began to invite friends, relatives, lovers, colleagues and fellow villagers to enjoy cherry blossoms together. People dressed in national costumes are intoxicated under the cherry trees, drinking, singing, dancing and eating snacks, enjoying the arrival of spring and enjoying the beautiful scenery of cherry blossoms. The park is full of flowers, the streets are hidden, the river banks are quiet and comfortable, the temples are elegant, and Shan Ye is broad-minded and romantic. Only when you are in it can you feel the wonderful scenery of looking up at flowers and looking down at petals.
Every year from late March to early April, various streets, communities and shrines and temples in Tokyo hold cherry blossom festival celebrations, sacrifices, dances and parades, and people are completely immersed in a romantic sea of cherry blossoms.
The Japanese regard cherry blossoms as the national flower and believe that cherry blossoms are the embodiment of God. God is wrapped in petals. As the petals bloom, the flowers wither and float in all directions, conveying a "hint" of happiness. Floating in the field indicates a bumper rice harvest in the coming year, while falling on the roof will bless the beautiful and prosperous family. Although most cherry blossoms have a short flowering period, with a life span of only 4- 10 days, and only one flower is concerned, cherry blossoms are also thin. But in the eyes of the Japanese, cherry blossoms are the persistent pursuit and enthusiasm for beauty when they bloom, and the arc height of beauty when they fall after blooming is pure heroism. Although there is nothing strange about a single cherry tree, only when thousands of cherry trees gather together and compete to bloom can we feel its momentum, scale and strength. This is a portrayal of Japanese national spirit and national character. (Source: Guangming Daily)
