I remember Wang Guozhen wrote a poem in his early years: "There are not many people who are really chic in this world, but many people who pretend to be chic." So I think the educated people in China are really not relaxed and chic. After reading a little, I was confused by all kinds of specious truths. I joined the WTO and was born. I am a Taoist and a Buddhist. No wonder Zheng Banqiao felt "hard to be confused". No wonder Mr. Lu Xun said, "Life begins with literacy." However, how difficult it is to be really confused and really chic.
China was an official in ancient times. Being an official is tantamount to being attached to power. Once they get close to power, they are "not tied with clothes and shoes". Once they lose power, they drift to Shan Ye, pretending to be noble and fashionable. Some rare people refuse the temptation of power, stay away from officialdom and become national treasures, but their spirits are also extremely divided. What is the reason? If you ask me, the problem is that our culture is divided and contradictory, and there is no consistent spiritual belief.
In fact, the west is not much better. There is an Israeli proverb that says, "When human beings think, God laughs." Nietzsche said, "God is dead", but is God really dead? Even when God died, he left religion behind. In fact, the advantage of the west lies in its religion and belief. Because some questions are really unclear, they are pushed to God. Even Hawking said that "the hand of God" is the first driving force of the universe. Muslims, on the other hand, live according to Allah's instructions and sacrifice their lives for Allah. Only China has no religion or belief. Although Taoism was established at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was for health preservation and was neither fish nor fowl. Even after Buddhism was introduced into China, it became more and more specious after several evolutions. In the end, everything is empty and everything is broken, so it is more persistent. On the contrary, Confucianism pays attention to reality, founder and practicality, but it was later interpreted by Neo-Confucianism in Song and Ming Dynasties and became a dogma. It was undoubtedly denied in the May 4th Movement, and at last, later generations didn't know what to stick to. Moreover, the so-called "pragmatism" advocated by Confucianism is "pragmatism", which is still far from the spiritual needs.
For example, nowadays, even mainstream public opinion no longer mentions Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought, but it has changed in just a few years. What do you want people to stick to? It's no wonder that the replacement of dynasties and totem objects has a tradition in ancient China, which is exactly what the phrase "the city head is replaced by the monarch flag" said. Because of the rapid change and lack of persistence, although there is a deep cultural accumulation, those cultures, like the current policies, are fighting with each other because of multiple policies. "Each plays its own horn and sings its own tune." When these cultures faced the impact of western material civilization, everything collapsed. Yes, as "world without thieves" said: "People are divided, but teams are hard to bring." But it doesn't matter, because we have invented another word-"diversity". Because of diversity, our different views seem reasonable and comfort ourselves. This is really "unique". To put it mildly, diversity shows individuality, or it is called "people-oriented" or "the return of human nature" It seems to be comparable to the "Renaissance" in the West. Don't you know that in the end, everything in your character is revealed, such as cunning and tact, speculation and banter, lack of integrity and moral decay, which are all manifested in social life, corruption of government officials and trading of power and money; What coal mine explosion, black brick kiln incident; What housing price problems, medical problems, education problems, what fraud incidents, South China Tiger incidents; What prostitution, big breasts, mistresses; What a one-night stand, wife exchange phenomenon; Yue Fei is not a national hero, and so on.
The rapidity of online media not only provides convenience for people to obtain information, but also provides channels for various objective negative phenomena. The economic reform initiated by the government not only improved the people's material living standards, but also opened the Pandora's box of "all money-oriented". The truth has become confusing, and the interpretation from different angles has made the general public persist; The pressure of survival makes people's spiritual space increasingly narrow; The infinite network world makes people's hearts more and more empty and gradually become hollow people; The existence of "jungle law" and "hidden rules" makes the competition disorderly; Judicial corruption, cases beyond moral judgment, makes the law pale and powerless. ......
So, what happened to our society? Power is the essence of deliberately avoiding problems. The mainstream media is trying to shape a new height, but people's hearts are shrinking day by day. People with dual personalities or even multiple personalities can be found everywhere. They should have a little sense and morality, professional ethics, can move China. Are ridicule, satire and banter the whole of our lives? Should we live forever in confusion, struggle, helplessness and numbness? What should we stick to?
It is simple to destroy a world, but it is extremely difficult to build one. Since there is no faith, we have to accept this reality and live in the spirit of pragmatism, because we have no choice, just as we can't choose our birthplace to choose our own cultural environment to survive. In this sense, it may be a good idea to re-examine Confucian classics. After all, human beings have been away from integrity for many years. Many excellent qualities that originally existed in human beings, such as courage, justice and kindness, no longer exist, or are gradually hidden in people's hearts, or simply lost. If we can be as close to ourselves and the earth as possible, maybe we can draw some nutrients and spiritual comfort from it, which is better than our endless helplessness and division.
