The middle school affiliated to Southwest Jiaotong University is a full-time complete middle school directly under Southwest Jiaotong University, which was founded in 1940. 1986 was approved as the first batch of provincial key middle schools in Sichuan province, 1994 passed the acceptance of provincial key middle schools by the provincial education commission, and 1998 was named as a provincial school spirit demonstration school.
