At present, domestic honeycomb paperboard technology and equipment have been greatly improved and improved in equipment processing accuracy, honeycomb paper forming strength, range adaptability, energy consumption reduction and production cost reduction. I. Main Features of Honeycomb Paperboard Honeycomb Paperboard is a new type of environmental protection and energy-saving material with sandwich structure, which is composed of high-strength honeycomb paper core and various high-strength kraft paper. It has the advantages of low cost, less materials, sound absorption and heat insulation, high strength and good impact resistance. 1. Light weight, less materials and low cost. Compared with other board structures, honeycomb sandwich structure has the highest strength coincidence rate, so its finished product has better cost performance, which is the key to the success of honeycomb paperboard. The density of common honeycomb paperboard is about 30 ~ 50kg/m, which is 1/3 of that of common corrugated paperboard. The price of ordinary honeycomb paperboard is only 60% of that of wood, 50% of that of steel and 66% of that of heavy-duty seven-layer corrugated cardboard. Because of its light weight, it can bring better economic benefits to users. 2. High strength, smooth surface and difficult deformation. Honeycomb sandwich structure is nearly isotropic, with good structural stability and not easy to deform. Its outstanding compression and bending properties are important characteristics required by box packaging materials. Ordinary honeycomb paperboard can bear 2-5 kilograms of pressure per square centimeter, which is 5- 10 times that of ordinary corrugated paperboard. The bending strength of ordinary honeycomb paperboard is 2-5 times that of reinforced corrugated paperboard and 5-30 times that of ordinary corrugated paperboard. 3. Good impact resistance and cushioning performance. Honeycomb paperboard is made of flexible paper core and tissue paper, which has good toughness and resilience. The unique honeycomb sandwich structure provides excellent cushioning performance, and the energy absorption per unit volume is higher among all cushioning materials. High-thickness honeycomb paperboard can replace EPS foam plastic liner which is widely used at present. The research shows that the compressive strength of honeycomb corrugated paperboard increases approximately linearly with the increase of paperboard thickness and length. The compressive strength of AB corrugated board can reach 8.5 kgf/cm ~ 2, A corrugated board can reach 8.5 kgf/cm ~ 2, and B corrugated board can reach 14 kgf/cm ~ 2, which is much higher than EPS foam. 4. Sound absorption and heat insulation. The interior of honeycomb sandwich structure is a closed cell filled with air, so it has good sound insulation and heat preservation performance. 5. No pollution, in line with the trend of modern environmental protection. Honeycomb cardboard is made of recycled paper, which can replace EPS plastic cushion to save wood and can be recycled after use. Scraps and scraps in the production of corrugated boxes can also be die-cut and bonded to make various shapes of honeycomb corrugated board cushions. Even if discarded, it can be naturally degraded and absorbed, and it is a good green packaging material. Second, the application of honeycomb paperboard in packaging. Honeycomb paperboard products save resources, protect the ecological environment, have low cost, low price, wide application and good prospects, and conform to the trend of material application and development in the international packaging industry. Honeycomb cardboard, as a new packaging material, is widely used in the packaging of electronics, electrical appliances and other items, especially for cushioning packaging of heavy industrial products such as household appliances, electromechanical products, mechanical parts and ceramic products. Specifically, it can be made into honeycomb trays, packaging boxes and packaging linings. 1. Honeycomb molding tray. Honeycomb molded tray is made of honeycomb molded plates as the top and bottom plates of the tray, and the middle and four corner pads are bonded by round paper tubes or small pieces of multi-layer honeycomb cardboard. After drying and molding, a complete honeycomb paper-based molding tray is made. In order to meet the performance requirements of the pallet, necessary chemical additives must be added. (1) adding dry strength agent, such as modified starch, cationic polyacrylamide and polyvinyl acetate emulsion; (2) adding wet strength agent, such as polyamide propylene oxide resin (PAE); (3) Sizing agents, such as water-soluble acrylate polymers. This production process adopts waste paper pulp and pollution-free additives in a certain proportion. The production process is simple, no harmful substances are discharged in the production process, the waste water is recycled, and there is almost no load on the environment, which meets the requirements of environmental protection. Compared with wooden pallets, honeycomb pallets have better cushioning properties; The performance is moderate, and its flat compressive strength can reach more than 20t, and its bending strength can reach about 1t, which can protect the product well. 2. Honeycomb packing box. Honeycomb packing box is a high-strength board composed of high-strength honeycomb paperboard with borders and various hard boards or high-strength waterproof kraft paper boards. It is a new type of energy-saving packing box with paper instead of wood. The composite box board with hard outside and soft inside of the packing box is puncture-resistant outside and provides buffer protection inside to realize the unity of packaging and protection. The box has a flat surface, no flat seam, close fit, beautiful appearance and convenient printing, which can meet the packaging requirements of 13 products and reduce the obstacles to commodity inspection of export commodities. It is a good substitute for wooden packaging boxes. 3. Honeycomb packing lining. According to the shape of the package, honeycomb paperboard can be used for a variety of processing to make a variety of packaging linings. Compared with traditional polystyrene foam (EPS), honeycomb packaging liner has higher strength and better cushioning performance. Processing does not require mold forming and is not limited by batches. At the same time, it can also reduce the volume of packaging containers, reduce packaging materials and reduce transportation costs. In addition, materials can be recycled to avoid white pollution and realize the best protection and rational utilization of resources.
