Taiwan Province Strait is a strait connecting the South China Sea and the East China Sea between Chinese mainland and Taiwan Province Island. It starts from Fujian coast in the west and reaches the west coast of Taiwan Province Island in the east. There are many versions of the north-south dividing line. The general standard is: the line from Maobizhou in the southernmost part of Taiwan Province Province to Nan 'ao Island in Guangdong Province, and the line from Fuguijiao in the northernmost part of Taiwan Province Province to the northern corner of Lianjiang in Fujian Province.
Extended data:
Taiwan Province Strait, located in the sea area between Fujian and Taiwan Province, is a waterway connecting the East China Sea and the South China Sea. The division of its north-south boundary is not consistent. The southern boundary is often divided into two types, from the cat's nose (said to be goose's nose) of Taiwan Province Island to Dongshan Island or Nan 'ao Island (and the coastal junction of Fujian and Guangdong provinces, or Zhaoantou in Fujian).
There are usually three kinds of strokes in the northern boundary, from Fuguijiao at the northern end of Taiwan Province Island to Beijiaozui in Lianjiang, Fujian, or to Minjiang Estuary, or to Yang Jiao at the northern end of Pingtan Island (Haitan Island).
