On many occasions, Liu Zhiyan likes to publicize her "theory of honesty" because she herself is the beneficiary of honesty. Twenty years ago, she was a laid-off worker. After working for three years, she decided to be her own boss. She opened a 7-square-meter shop in the building materials market-"Qingdao Dahuang Stone Wholesale Department". In the second year of starting a business, she accepted a severe "integrity test". That year, she undertook a project, but because of the "Gulf War" that year, both land and sea were blocked. As a result, materials can't get in and the project can't be done. This is force majeure and it is said that it can be irresponsible. But she believes that since she signed the contract, she must bear the responsibility. She lost a year's income for this project. After paying back the money, she only had 100 yuan left, but it happened that the child had a fever again, and it took 60 yuan to go to the hospital to see a doctor. When she came back, the child clamored for a taxi and didn't want to play infusion bag or bottle the next day. She took 40 yuan's money and cried with her child in her arms. Although she thinks honesty comes at a price, and some people call her stupid, she thinks she did the right thing.
She firmly believes that honesty is the "root" and "foundation" of enterprise production and operation.

From the wholesale department with only two employees at first, it has developed into a modern large-scale stone processing enterprise with an inventory of nearly 20 million yuan, 40 workers and an area of more than 8,000 square meters.
