Wenshan University has become a demonstration school for cultivating applied undergraduate talents in Yunnan Province on 20 19.

Since the promotion, teachers have published 32 academic monographs, edited 45 books and teaching materials, 13 scientific and technological achievements won the second prize of Yunnan Science and Technology Progress Award, more than 30 won the first, second and third prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award, and 1 won the National Science and Technology Progress Contribution Award. Published 3 academic papers105, including 26 core journals1article, and 84 articles included in SCI and EI.

The school has been rated as "Yunnan Civilized Unit" and "Yunnan Civilized School" successively, and its social influence has been significantly improved.
