Different types of earthquakes have different reasons.

Among them, tectonic earthquake is a vibration caused by the rapid release of long-term accumulated energy due to underground rock movement. This kind of earthquake has the highest frequency, accounting for more than 90% of all earthquakes and the strongest destructive power.
Volcanic movement is an earthquake caused by volcanic activity. This kind of earthquake will only occur near volcanoes, accounting for about 7% of all earthquakes.
Collapse earthquake is an earthquake caused by the collapse of underground caves or the top of mines. Because of its small scale and few times, it generally appears in ore mining areas.
Induced earthquakes are caused by external factors, such as reservoir water storage, oil field water injection and so on. Such earthquakes will only occur in specific areas.
Artificial earthquakes, as the name implies, are caused by human factors, and underground river explosion, explosive blasting and other activities are the main causes of artificial earthquakes.
