This film is the biggest topic in Japan in 2006, and it is the most expensive and publicized disaster adventure masterpiece in Japanese film industry in the past 20 years, which is adapted from Komatsu Zuojing's best-selling novel of the same name.

In just one breath, the Japanese archipelago will disappear-this may happen tomorrow.

Under the command of Dr. Tosuke Tansuo (Etsushi Toyokawa), Onodera Toshi Utsumi (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) of Poseidon 6500 and his colleague Kenji Jiecheng (Mitchy) participated in the deep-sea survey. The survey results surprised Onodera-the Japanese archipelago will sink in just one year due to the rapid decline of the submarine plate. Tansuo told other scientists about the crisis in Japan, but it was considered as a "rumor not worth listening to". However, the Prime Minister of the Cabinet, Shangzhi Yamamoto (Koji Ishizaka), realized the seriousness of the situation and appointed Tansuo's ex-wife Shazhi Eagle God (Mao Daichi) as the crisis management minister. In order to apply for accepting Japanese refugees to take refuge overseas, Prime Minister Yamamoto also began his lobbying trip.

However, time waits for no one. Starting from the crustal changes in Hokkaido, the tide of crustal changes from Kyushu to inland swept the Japanese archipelago. The government declared a state of emergency, and people fled in a hurry to find a way to escape. Eagle God launched an emergency evacuation plan, but her efforts were feeble and the number of victims was still rising.

On the other hand, Onodera and Reiko Kobayakawa Abe (Kou Shibasaki), a member of the crisis rescue team, rescued Kuramumi (Mayuko Fukuda), a girl who lost her family. Reiko Kobayakawa, who lost relatives in the Hanshin earthquake, adopted Xiao Mei. To encourage laughter, Saye Temple visited Reiko Kobayakawa's residence. The three people who met in the disaster had a solid and unbreakable relationship, and Reiko Kobayakawa and Onodera were attracted to each other.

Time is approaching by the minute. What should1.200 million Japanese do before the Japanese archipelago is about to fall apart and before the worst national disaster in history? Now, the heroic challenge closely related to the survival of all Japanese people has begun. ...

About the film

The Sinking of Japan was originally a best-selling prophecy novel, and 1973 was put on the screen. Over the years, the Japanese film industry has tried several times to remake, but they all gave up because of the huge funds. Finally, Dongbao Film Company and TBS TV decided to join hands and spend more than 2 billion yen to recreate the wonders of the screen. The original book describes a geologist's deep-sea investigation and finds that Japan will sink inland in 300 days. This new film shortens Lu Chen time by 90 days, which is even more critical and shocking. There are terrible disaster scenes in the film, such as an earthquake of magnitude 8, submarine volcanic eruption and tsunami. Makotoguchi, the director of animation and computer games, will face a more severe technical test than his previous work "The Witch Submarine". The Japanese government gave full support to the filming of "Sunken Japan", and dispatched agencies such as the Defense Agency, the Army, Navy and Air Self-Defense Force, the Tokyo Fire Department, and even invited the Marine Research and Development Agency (JAMSTEC) as a consultant to make the weather and crustal changes in the film more realistic.

The film is adapted from Komatsu Satoshi's famous best-selling book "Japanese Tank". Komatsu Sasaki is a famous Japanese science fiction writer, essayist, journalist and playwright. 1962, he published "Return of Yi Xian" in SF magazine, and embarked on the road of creation. 1966 published The End of the Endless River, which made Komatsu Zuojing famous. The Sunken Japan published by 1973 set a sales record of 4 million copies in the first and second episodes, and became a best seller in Japan that year (later made into a movie by Dongbao Company), and won the 27th Japan Inferior Writers Association Award and the 5th Japanese Science Fiction Literature Xingyun Award in the following year. 1985 won the 6th Japan Science Fiction Award for his novel The Capital Disappeared. Komatsu Satoshi, hoshi shinichi and Yasutaka Tsutsui are also known as the "three great masters" of Japanese science fiction. An asteroid discovered by amateur astronomers in Gunma Prefecture, Japan in 1993 was named after Komatsu Satoshi. ...

SMAP member Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and popular actress Kou Shibasaki co-starred in The Sinking of Japan, with an investment of 2 billion yen, which is the largest investment in the history of Japanese movies. The screening alone cost 654.38 billion yen, making it the most luxurious screening in Japanese history. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Kou Shibasaki and other key figures in the film, as well as the director of the film, attended the screening ceremony. The conference was broadcast live by satellite and became the first "super-large screening across the Japanese archipelago" in Japanese film history. The performance of the main venue budokan hall is super luxurious. Not only is there a huge screen to play exciting pictures, but also the help of the Tokyo Fire Department, which is fully assisting in shooting this time. They will dispatch all kinds of fire engines for the audience to visit. There was a volcano like the one in the movie, and performers and firefighters slowly appeared in this grand atmosphere.

This film is a remake of the movie of the same name. 1973 has a total audience of 6.5 million. Adapted from the disaster novel of the same name by the famous writer Komatsu Satoshi, it tells the story that Japan is in a state of destruction because of the earthquake. This film has invested the largest production cost of 2 billion yen in Japanese film history, and the film company has also issued a bold statement: "The total audience will definitely exceed100000!" Tsuyoshi Kusanagi plays a submarine, and Kou Shibasaki is a rescuer. This is the second time that the two have cooperated in the film after Dead End. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi said that his impression of Kou Shibasaki is that he has big eyes and is full of enthusiasm and vitality. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi is also full of confidence in the new film, saying that the new version will surpass the Japanese sinking 33 years ago and will be a super masterpiece.

Content introduction:

A 70-meter-high island in the northern Ogasawara Islands sank to the bottom of the sea overnight. Dr. Tanso, the authority of geophysics in charge of the investigation, and Onodera Toshi Utsumi, the pilot of the deep-sea submarine, dived into the seabed and found a large-scale anomaly at a depth of 7 kilometers in the Japanese trench. At the same time, accidents such as the forced suspension of Shinkansen project and the collapse of expressway bridges have also occurred on the Japanese archipelago, with frequent volcanic activities and earthquakes. To this end, the Japanese government secretly held an expert hearing, at which Tanaka issued an alarm that Japan was about to sink. Skeptical government departments immediately made a "D- 1" plan to deal with the state of emergency, and launched a top-secret investigation. With the deepening of investigation and the occurrence of "Kyoto earthquake" and "Tokyo earthquake", the fact that Japan is facing sinking is becoming more and more clear, and the Japanese government has to make a "D-2" plan aimed at saving the Japanese nation on the basis of the "D- 1" plan. When the news of Japan's sinking was made public, the international community immediately launched rescue activities and began intelligence activities to inquire about the situation in the Far East after Japan's sinking.

The Japanese archipelago sank. The displaced Japanese began a historic wandering life.

Komatsu Sasaki spent nine years writing The Sinking of Japan, in which the scientific argument about the sinking of Japan was "comparable to a master's thesis". It was published as 1973 and became a best seller in postwar Japan. Dongbao Huaying Company recently invested 2 billion yen to remake The Sinking of Japan. The new version will perfectly reproduce the grand scenes in the novel with the latest technology, starring Japanese movie star Cao Jiangang and Japanese drama diva Kou Shibasaki. It is expected to be released in 2006.
