Land resource management belongs to two disciplines under management. At present, there are three research directions: land resources and land use planning, land economy and land policy, and land resources management information system, so as to cultivate senior professionals who have the basic theory of modern land resources management, systematically master the methods and skills of land resources investigation, evaluation, development, utilization, protection and management, and have the ability to independently engage in research work in relevant directions of land resources management. The main courses offered by master students in this major are: land resource management, land use planning, land economics, land law, land ecology, land resource management information system, land use technology model and so on. Graduates can engage in teaching, scientific research and management in land resource management, urban planning, agriculture and related fields, land economy, land resource management information system and so on.

The master's degree in land resources management has a strong faculty and more than a dozen accomplished experts and scholars. Some of them were elected as deputy directors and secretaries-general of the National Committee of Land and Resources, and won provincial awards for outstanding professional and technical personnel with outstanding contributions. The research results of this master's program are fruitful. He presided over nearly 50 national natural science foundation projects, provincial and ministerial land science research projects and other projects at all levels, published more than 10 monographs, published more than 100 papers, and won more than 10 provincial and ministerial science and technology achievement awards.
