I read these words of Aristotle again, lamenting the struggle of the ancient philosopher's thoughts for today's pale spiritual world:
Courage is not intimidated by the fear of death, not afraid of danger, not surprised by distress, preferring death to surrender, which is also the reason for victory. Moreover, diligence, perseverance and competition with others are also brave. Generosity, optimism and boldness are accompanied by courage, as well as hard work and determination.
To sum up, virtue is characterized by keeping the soul in a good state and making its parts harmonious with quiet and orderly movement; Therefore, the state of a good soul is regarded as a model of a good state power. Virtue is also manifested in the realization of valuable things well, clear love and hate, not encouraging punishment and not keen on revenge, but kindness, friendliness and tolerance. Virtue is accompanied by honesty, fairness, friendliness and good wishes, just like loving family, friends, companions, outsiders, human beings and good things. And all these attributes exist in admirable things.
