In fact, many university teachers get more wealth by writing papers and doing scientific research, because their teaching salary is actually not that high. But by having better research ability, I can have more wealth, live a better life and have better capital to support my family life. Is it good or bad for the academic atmosphere that the number of papers is not directly linked to the salary of college teachers? I think it is good. There are three main reasons for this:
First, it can reduce the profit-seeking atmosphere.
In fact, many university professors are really prolific writers and can make themselves do better research. Many times, some teachers actually have a mentality of making money, because they want to get more wealth by writing more papers and make their lives better and better. In fact, some university professors do think so, which makes the academic atmosphere not so good.
Second, it can purify the academic atmosphere.
If such a policy can be implemented, it can actually make the academic atmosphere better and better, and it can also purify the academic atmosphere, because it will enable many people to maintain an attitude of contributing to society and enable many scholars to have better behavior.
Third, it can make scientific research pure.
We do have good academic development, which is also attributed to some good policies, which can promote those people to better promote academic development and make better academic progress. And if the number of papers can not be linked to salary, it can really make scientific research more pure.
This is my opinion. Do you have any other ideas? Welcome to leave a message in the comments section.
