1860 On March 6th, Mendeleev's assistant Menakin read a paper entitled "The Relationship between the Properties of Chemical Elements and Atomic Weight" on his behalf at the Russian Chemical Society. Unfortunately, this document did not receive the attention it deserved at that time. This is understandable because there were too many similar classifications in the past.
