Feeding methods and matters needing attention of succulent animals

I. Soil

It is best to use soil with strong permeability and high humus and nutrient content to raise more meat. Specifically, coarse perlite, northeast pine needle soil and stone slag can be evenly mixed according to the ratio of 5:3: 1 for meat culture.

Second, light.

Although succulents have different requirements for light according to different varieties, in general, they prefer the growth conditions with sufficient light, giving sufficient light in the growing season, shading in time in summer and seeing more sunshine in winter.

Third, water.

Succulent plants have a high water content, and generally can survive without much water, but too much water will rot their roots, so wait until the soil is dry before watering.

Fourth, temperature.

The optimum growth temperature of succulents is 15-28℃, which should not be lower than 5℃ in winter and higher than 35℃ in summer. The tolerance limit mentioned here is general, which does not mean that all succulents are within this range, so it is better to put it at 15-28℃.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) matters needing attention

1, topdressing in time. The growth of succulents is inseparable from the absorption of nutrients, and the supply of nutrients requires timely topdressing with water-soluble fertilizers. It is necessary to dilute the fertilizer before topdressing to avoid burning the plants.

2. Prevent pests and diseases. Even if the meat has no symptoms of illness, we need to spray some medicine on it to prevent it from getting sick. Mainly use carbendazim and imidacloprid solution, the concentration should not be too high, once every two months.
