What do you mean by rewriting the paper?
To rewrite a paper is to rewrite a paper.

If you fail a course in the college exam (generally required), you will take it again in the next academic year. Re-taking the exam is called re-taking.

Most colleges and universities adopt this strategy: when a student fails in many subjects in the final exam, he will be given a chance to make up the exam in the first week of next semester. If students pass the failed subjects in the make-up exam, they don't need to retake the exam, but if more than a certain number of subjects fail, they must retake these courses.

Rewriting papers is a special measure for graduates. Generally speaking, there are two opportunities, and there is no way out before the second reconstruction is passed.

Definition and treatment of unqualified re-examination papers

Graduation thesis (design) is considered unqualified in any of the following circumstances:

1. did not participate in the topic selection.

2. Although I participated in the topic selection, I never submitted the specific content.

3. The submitted paper failed to pass the examination of the tutor.

4. The format and number of words of the paper do not meet the requirements.

5. The paper has been finalized, but it was later verified that the paper (design) had academic misconduct such as buying and selling, writing on behalf of others, forging and copying, or was similar to the main contents of other students' papers.

6. Change the content of the paper without the consent of the tutor.

7. The paper has been finalized, but the written draft has not been submitted successfully on time.

Handling methods of unqualified papers:

1. You must apply for revision of the paper and pay the revision fee in full.

2. Reconstructed papers will not be evaluated.

Rewriting the thesis may affect the graduation time.
