Consumption is no stranger to everyone, and the concept of consumption also changes with the changes of the times. In recent years, the cultivation of contemporary college students' consumption concept has attracted much attention from all walks of life. As the main force of socialist construction in the future, it is a reasonable transition for college students to actively establish a scientific concept of consumption before entering the society. It is very important for everyone, especially modern students, to establish a scientific and correct view of consumption. Based on this, our research group investigated the consumption status of contemporary college students, analyzed the causes and influences of their consumption views, and put forward some suggestions on how to cultivate a scientific and correct consumption view.
I. Basic investigation

The greater the attention. Because college students are young and special, they have different consumption psychology and behavior from other consumer groups in society. On the one hand, they have strong consumer demand, on the other hand, they have not achieved economic independence, and their consumption is greatly restricted. The advance of consumption concept and the lag of consumption strength have great influence on their consumption. Special groups naturally have their own particularities, and inevitably there will be some irrational consumption and even some consumption problems. In order to find out the consumption problem of college students, we decided to do a consumption survey among our classmates to find out how much money college students spent, where they spent it, whether it was reasonable, and how to improve it if it was unreasonable. ...

Third, the problems found in the investigation
Average monthly consumption of college students
The overall data analysis shows that the consumption level of some college students is on the high side. The investigation and observation of its consumption channels mainly include the following points.
(1) source of living expenses: college students have just entered the university and do not have enough economic ability. In the survey data, the proportion of all living expenses from family accounts for 68%! ! 28% of them go to school while working! The way to go to school while working is increasing year by year (which is good news).
(2) Shopping mode: Now the Internet industry is booming, which has spawned a large number of network industries. 2 1 century is the golden age of online shopping. Contemporary young people are very keen on online shopping. Analysis of survey data: The proportion of online shopping by students accounts for 80%, which is seriously unbalanced for physical stores. Moreover, online shopping is blind and unclear about product quality.
(3) Webcast awards: Webcast awards in previous years became the focus of public opinion at that time. Many minors are trapped by it. Investigation and analysis: 6 1% did not reward the anchor, and only 5% rewarded the anchor. This is a very good situation. Our college students' consumption view is very rational.
(4) Buying clothes: College students will believe their real experiences to some extent. If they gradually form a fixed preference for brand-name clothes, they will maintain good loyalty. In the survey data, the proportion of buying clothes for parents accounts for 76%, and the number of buying clothes for themselves accounts for the majority. Moreover, they have a perceptual knowledge of the purchase of clothes, prompting them to continue to buy (famous brands).
(5) Love consumption: According to the survey, college students who fall in love spend about 65,438+000 more per month-about 20% in 200 yuan, the least in 50 yuan, and more than 5% in 600 yuan (such as giving expensive gifts to each other). Most of them admit that the pursuit of emotion requires material input, and it is often difficult to rationally grasp the principle of moderate consumption.
(6) School supplies: University is a place to broaden your horizons and improve yourself. Extracurricular reading is essential. College students in a certain place don't spend much on this. According to the investigation and analysis, 28% of 50 yuan is 1-, 47% is 50-200, and only 13% is more than 200. Students' concept of learning consumption is irrational.
Fourthly, the factors that affect college students' consumption.
(1), the influence of family from high school to university, the most fundamental difference is that we have achieved "wealth freedom", and the essence of wealth freedom is that we can control our living expenses, which undoubtedly has nothing to do with our consumption view and financial management view. From the data point of view, almost all the economic sources of college students come from their families, so their consumption concepts and financial management concepts are inseparable from the family environment. For example, when you were young, your parents asked you to be thrifty and know how to manage money. So after entering the university, you will plan your living expenses in an orderly way as when you were a child, and save the unused living expenses or buy funds. However, if you have everything you want when you are young, and your parents have never controlled your consumption behavior, then your living expenses may not be enough after you enter the university. This is the difference of children's consumption behavior without family environment.
(2) The influence of the school Today's university campus is open, and the trend of consumerism is impacting the campus. The surrounding environment of the school has also brought great influence to the consumption of college students. Many advertising leaflets of businesses in Internet cafes, karaoke bars, dance halls, cafes, game halls, skating rinks and restaurants can be seen everywhere. These have become catalysts for students' abnormal consumption. College education does not pay enough attention to the guiding education of students' consumption view, which is manifested as follows:
First, there is insufficient research on college students' consumption psychology and behavior. In order to achieve the actual effect, the ideological and political education in colleges and universities must always understand and master the actual behavior of students.
Secondly, the education and guidance of college students' consumption concept is not enough. Because the understanding of college students' consumption psychology and behavior is not comprehensive and objective, and because of the curriculum of engineering colleges and other factors, the special education on consumption view, which is closely related to important ideas such as outlook on life, outlook on labor, outlook on money and national conditions, has not been fully carried out in the ideological and moral cultivation class, and it is difficult to achieve the real guiding purpose.
Third, there is a general lack of content to advocate college students' frugality and life consumption view in the field of school spirit construction. The school spirit of colleges and universities mainly reflects the group psychology and behavior characteristics of students. It is a very important content of ideological and political education in colleges and universities to focus on shaping and strengthening students' good consumption consciousness and behavior and cultivating students' good consumption habits in the construction of school spirit.
(3) The influence of society puts college students in school, and his role is a student, so he will make the same comparative consumption according to his own economic situation, and also put him in society. He is a member of society, and his consumption concept is undoubtedly unaffected by society. In today's social environment, there is no doubt that some so-called "famous brands" are unnecessary for some students with ordinary family economic conditions in the working environment. Moreover, in order to continuously expand the scale of running schools and lower the threshold, parents also send their children to school with the mentality of letting their children mix diplomas. In this way, although some children hang up the title of college students, they do not have the ability and psychological quality to match college students. Coupled with academic pressure and ideological burden, some children in school have to gradually degenerate and become decadent. But most of the time is not spent on improving my ability, but on various daily consumption. Under the background of reform and opening up, with people's economic level getting better and better, and pursuing a better quality of life, everyone began to blindly follow the crowd and chase the fashion brand. Under this social background, everyone's consumption concept has also changed a little.

Carry forward the traditional virtues of diligence, thrift and hard work of the Chinese nation, curb unhealthy and vicious consumption habits, advocate the pursuit of healthy and scientific consumption concepts and psychology, and enhance financial management awareness.
2. Pay attention to overcoming the psychology of comparison and don't blindly pursue high consumption.
From primary school to university, we can always turn up a trend of comparison for some reason. Students compare expensive and shiny things with each other and say to each other, how noble I am! How rich! How shiny! But these are your own economic expenses, and you have never got them! Those who keep up with the joneses are ashamed of themselves and depend endlessly on their parents' finances to reach the superstructure. But I thought that all the money earned by their parents should be spent on "cutting edge" (emergency welfare). We don't have our own independent financial resources, so we must seek truth from facts, learn and cultivate the consumption standards that suit our own reality, and overcome the psychology of keeping up with the joneses! We are required to learn to establish a correct consumption concept and a healthy and scientific consumption psychology, and to establish a realistic (beneficial) consumption concept for ourselves.
3. Poor students should face up to their current consumption situation and develop a good consumption mentality.
From primary school to university, we will meet a special group-poor students. No matter their family economy or life economy, their economic consumption ability is backward, they live in poverty and have a hard life! But they yearn for a better life and want to have a rich and sufficient material and spiritual life. Because of this, poor students should pay more attention to their actual situation (economic consumption). Poor students should maintain an optimistic and positive attitude, actively face their own actual situation, and allocate consumption reasonably and healthily according to their own needs.
4. Pay attention to spiritual consumption and develop healthy habits.
After investigation, we college students prefer material consumption to spiritual consumption. We college students have no fixed source of income, and we all rely on the money earned by our parents to get expenses. Material consumption will only blindly waste our money value, and our time and energy will be exhausted. But spiritual consumption can cultivate our sentiment, please our mood, improve and enrich our spiritual life, participate in some cultural and sports activities to enrich our life experience, broaden our horizons, cultivate our hobbies and acquire valuable knowledge; Therefore, we should pay attention to spiritual consumption and develop healthy living habits.
5. The university campus should form a better consumption atmosphere.
Forming a good consumption atmosphere on campus plays a vital role in the reasonable and healthy consumption of our college students. This not only requires teachers to educate and guide us in various ways, but also requires our students to carry forward the traditional virtues of thrift and hard work, set an example and spend reasonably; So as to establish a correct consumption concept and good consumption psychology, and further form a better style of study and school spirit.

We have just entered the university, and our financial ability is not enough. The family we live in has become the dominant consumption factor. In fact, our college students from all over the world have different consumption habits and different ways to obtain economic sources, which leads to consumption differences. To learn how to manage money, you should spend your monthly expenses scientifically and reasonably, which can be recorded in the bookkeeping book or memo, so as to discard useless consumption, overcome the psychology of comparison and spend rationally.
