Jincheng, born in 1945, used to be the director of the teaching and research section of theoretical mechanics in Harbin Institute of Technology, the head of the national excellent course "Theoretical Mechanics", a professor and a doctoral supervisor. He has long been engaged in the teaching and training of undergraduate, master and doctoral students in theoretical mechanics, fracture mechanics, tensor analysis and continuum mechanics, fracture mechanics, fracture dynamics and nonlinear continuum mechanics. The main research directions are "fracture dynamics", "fatigue and damage" and "nonlocal theory". He has presided over many national natural science funds and aerospace funds, and undertaken many application topics in the field of fracture mechanics.
