Test center 1: find or refine arguments

The basis for judging the argument:

The argument should be a clear judgment and a complete statement of the author's point of view. Formally, it should be a complete sentence.

Ways to find the right argument:

First, read the article carefully, and then look at the title, beginning, end and middle.

(1) is usually at the beginning or end of the article;

(2) The second paragraph of the article: If the first paragraph lists various phenomena in life, arguments may appear in the second paragraph.

(3) There is a turning sentence in the middle of the article, which may be an argument.

(4) There are sub-arguments in the article, but there is no central argument. We should integrate the sub-arguments and sum up the central argument ourselves. However, this situation rarely occurs in the senior high school entrance examination.

The answer to this kind of question can basically be answered by selecting the original sentence from the text. The original sentence may be concentrated in a certain paragraph, or it may be juxtaposed in several natural paragraphs. It is necessary to grasp some central sentences or key sentences.

Arguments include factual arguments and rational arguments. Factual arguments include typical cases, historical facts and statistical data. Rational argumentation includes truth, famous sayings, aphorisms, proverbs, principles, laws and formulas of natural science, etc.

Answer format:

Supplement to the argument:

When supplementing factual arguments, the selected examples should be representative, able to express arguments, concise in language and written in the format of who did what. When supplementing arguments, famous sayings or aphorisms are the main ones.

Examples, reasons (especially quotations), metaphors and comparisons.
