1. Hospital pharmacy management and clinical pharmacy of traditional Chinese medicine: I have been engaged in hospital pharmacy management for many years, organized and compiled the first "Hospital TCM Management" in China, presided over the scientific research project "Research on the Theory and Practice of Modern Management Mode of Hospital TCM", and published more than 20 related papers and 2 related monographs around this topic, which won the second prize of Zhongshan Science and Technology Progress Award.
In the research on the safety of traditional Chinese medicine injections, in cooperation with Zeng Congyan, director of Chinese medicine pharmacists, he led the team to apply for the scientific research topic of "Literature analysis and standardized research on prevention and treatment measures of common traditional Chinese medicine injections", and published more than 30 papers and 2 monographs on adverse reactions of traditional Chinese medicine injections. The achievement won the second prize of scientific and technological progress in Zhongshan and the second prize of scientific and technological progress in Guangdong Pharmaceutical Society. As the project leader, he initiated and organized the "National Symposium on the Safety of Traditional Chinese Medicine Injections and the Symposium on the Safety of Traditional Chinese Medicine", and took the lead in proposing that most of the adverse reactions of traditional Chinese medicine injections were caused by improper clinical use, which was supported by the participants.
As a member of the drafting expert group of Guangdong Pharmaceutical Society, he participated in drafting the implementation standards of Guangdong prescription review, took the lead in proposing the implementation points of Chinese medicine prescription review, and gave academic reports to Chinese medicine personnel in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Tianjin and Hefei for many times. 2. Drug research and development: During my work in Qichun, Hubei, my hometown, I made an in-depth study of the real estate and specialty medicinal materials in Li Shizhen's hometown, edited and published monographs such as qi zhou Medical Records and Folium Artemisiae Argyi, especially the research on the specialty medicinal material Folium Artemisiae Argyi in my hometown, demonstrated the quality and authenticity of Folium Artemisiae Argyi, and published more than 20 academic papers around the study of Folium Artemisiae Argyi. Directed domestic 10 wormwood production enterprises to develop wormwood series products, and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits, which played a positive role in promoting wormwood research and development and popularizing wormwood culture.
After coming to Guangdong in the mid-1990s, Professor Mei listed the research and development of Guangdong real estate medicinal materials as his important research direction, and led his technical team to take the research and development of Guangdong real estate medicinal materials as the research platform, and taught 8 graduate students. Among them, Dai Weibo, a graduate student of 10, won the title of outstanding graduate student in South Guangdong. In recent years, Guangdong native medicinal materials such as Achyranthes bidentata, triangle grass, Guangkun, Sanyaku, Ophiopogon japonicus, Rose and Ophiopogon japonicus have been studied respectively. On this basis, the monograph "Research on Authentic Medicinal Materials in Guangdong" was edited and published, and was supported by the National Publishing Fund. 3. Research on Medicine History and Materia Medica: During my early work in my hometown, I mainly studied Li Shizhen and Compendium of Materia Medica, and published more than 10 papers. With the support of leaders and experts at all levels, I led the establishment of Li Shizhen Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Qichun, Hubei Province, and served as the first director. Assist Mr. Deng Laisong, a famous expert of traditional Chinese medicine in Huangshi, to establish the magazine Shizhen National Medicine Research.
