At present, the research on the design of professional title evaluation index in higher vocational colleges in China is still in its infancy. Professional ability is the comprehensive embodiment of people's various abilities to engage in a certain occupation, which can be divided into general professional ability and professional ability. In this study, teachers from vocational colleges in Tianjin, such as Vocational University, Sino-German Vocational and Technical College, Modern Vocational and Technical College, Vocational College of Land Resources and Housing Management, Business Vocational College, etc. 10 were investigated. A total of 125 questionnaires were sent out, 1 16 questionnaires were recovered, and 1 12 questionnaires were valid. 2.3.3 Analysis and interpretation of survey results
Research problems can be roughly divided into two categories. The first to seventh questions are about the general professional ability of teachers in higher vocational colleges, and the eighth to thirteenth questions are about the professional ability of teachers in higher vocational colleges.

From the survey results, it can be seen that teachers' academic qualifications and qualifications have a general influence on the true evaluation of teachers' level, which shows that teachers' corresponding academic qualifications and qualifications are only the basic conditions for their teaching work, and a teacher's actual level cannot be explained by his high academic qualifications or long service time.
The second to fifth questions of the questionnaire are all about the investigation of papers and works. Judging from the survey results, the quality of papers and the level of journals can truly reflect a teacher's level in this respect. The number of papers is not necessarily high, which shows that improving the quality of papers is a main channel to improve teachers' scientific research level.
The sixth question of the questionnaire is about the investigation of compiling teaching materials. In most professional title evaluation documents, it is stipulated that writing papers and compiling teaching materials can replace each other. The number of published papers or the number of words involved in teaching materials can show that the requirements of title evaluation have been met in this respect. However, the survey results show that 4 1.96% of the interviewed teachers think that the compilation of teaching materials has a general impact on the true evaluation of teachers' level, that is, the compilation of teaching materials cannot reflect teachers' level.
The seventh question in the questionnaire survey is about the evaluation of teaching quality. 53.57% of the respondents chose high and high options, which shows that people generally believe that the assessment of teaching quality can truly evaluate a teacher's level. In the process of professional title evaluation, it is generally necessary to evaluate the teaching quality of the applicant in the past five years. It can be said that this is a teacher's accumulated achievement, which can directly reflect a teacher's true level.
2. Analysis of the results of questionnaire survey on professional competence of higher vocational teachers.
The eighth question of the questionnaire survey is about guiding students to participate in various skill competitions, which is the most obvious sign that higher vocational colleges are different from ordinary colleges. Higher vocational colleges cultivate advanced skilled talents, and students' practical ability directly reflects the level of higher vocational education and naturally reflects the level of higher vocational teachers. The survey results show that 50.90% of the respondents choose high or high, 33.93% of the teachers choose the middle way, and only 1.79% of the respondents think that this content cannot truly reflect the level of teachers.
