What is the fundamental difference between analog circuits and digital circuits?
First of all, they have different characteristics:

1, characteristics of analog circuit:

The value of the (1) function is infinite.

(2) When the image information and sound information change, the waveform of the signal also changes, that is, the information to be propagated by the analog signal is contained in its waveform (the information change law is directly reflected in the amplitude, frequency and phase changes of the analog signal).

(3) The primary analog circuit mainly solves two major problems: amplification and signal source.

(4) The analog signal is continuous.

2, the characteristics of digital circuit:

(1) has both arithmetic and logical operation functions.

(2) The implementation is simple and the system is reliable. Digital logic circuit based on binary has strong reliability. The small fluctuation of power supply voltage has no influence on it, and the influence of temperature and process deviation on its reliability is far less than that of analog circuit.

(3) High integration and easy function realization.

Second, the overview of the two is different:

1. Overview of analog circuits: Analog circuits refer to circuits used to transmit, transform, process, amplify, measure and display analog signals.

2. Overview of digital circuits: A circuit that performs arithmetic and logical operations on digital quantities with digital signals is called a digital circuit or a digital system.

Third, the application of the two is different:

1 Application of Analog Circuits;

(1) amplifier circuit: used for voltage, current or power amplification of signals.

(2) Filter circuit: used for signal extraction, transformation or anti-interference.

(3) Arithmetic circuit: it completes the operations of signal proportion, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, integration, differentiation, logarithm and exponent.

(4) Signal conversion circuit: used to convert current signal into voltage signal or voltage signal into current signal, DC signal into AC signal or AC signal into DC signal, and DC voltage into frequency proportional to it.

(5) Signal generating circuit: used to generate sine wave, rectangular wave, triangular wave and sawtooth wave.

(6) DC power supply: 220V and 50Hz AC power supply is converted into DC power supply with different output voltages and currents, which is used as power supply for various electronic circuits.

2, the application of digital circuit:

Digital circuit and digital electronic technology are widely used in TV, radar, communication, computer, automatic control, aerospace and other scientific and technological fields.
