First, set a key. War stories in 800 tells a magical change that happened in a real event. The film contains the truth that the director thinks, the humanity that the director thinks and the spirit that the director understands. These truthfulness, humanity and spirit are all too self-centered, too narrow-minded, too symbolic and even divorced from reality. But when this way of depicting characters is put together with the light of the right path, the whole story will enter a particularly embarrassing cycle. On the one hand, the way of shaping characters runs counter to the theme, on the other hand, the theme determines that characters must move towards a bright road. The end result is that the negative label that gives the character authenticity becomes particularly deliberate. Few characters really shine with true humanity. Because they don't exist. On the contrary, the villain's performance is always radiant, but he has to be defeated by the standard ending of justice.

Therefore, if we objectively evaluate this shaping method, my opinion is that it may not be suitable for the main theme. This way of shaping does not mean that our films cannot exist. After all, this personal understanding of human nature cannot be said to be completely nonexistent. When investigating the theme of small pattern, small people and non-mainstream values, we admit that there are people with any personality in this world, so we should shape people with any personality. But these things are really not suitable for the main theme at all, because the higher meaning of the main theme is to talk about the confrontation between two or more positions and beliefs except each other. While shaping people, they are also shaping positions. The characters created by Babel did not bring much sense of reality and credibility to the story, but brought something corresponding to it. In other words, it is very inconsistent with the expectations of people who really understand movies for the main theme movies. There are some problems with the plot design.

Then there is the problem of plot design. I know many people shed tears when watching this movie. Many small videos, including the announcement, show Jason Wu sitting in the cinema with tears in his eyes. I also tell the truth, I cried when I saw them jump off the building. And I'm afraid others will see me secretly wiping tears several times. But this kind of crying can't add points to the film.
