HowNet is a cooperative relationship with foreign literature institutions, and all the collections are abstracts, but there is no full text, so it is not recommended to use HowNet to retrieve and download foreign literature. It is suggested to use Web of Science or Google Academic to retrieve foreign literature.

If the required foreign language literature is retrieved from HowNet, but there is no full text, it can be searched and downloaded from the literature source database containing the literature. This depends on whether you have the resources of the literature source database. If not, you can use the following methods:

1, the most effective thing is to use the document source database resource portal provided by the document party downloader website to download the documents you need. This is an integrated library of literature resources, which basically exists in both Chinese and foreign literature databases. For example, if the literature you need is included in the IEEE database, just click on the IEEE name in the download resource library of the Literature Party, and you can enter the database to find and download the literature.

2. Google Academic Input You need to try to retrieve the titles of documents. Some documents can be downloaded directly from Google Academic.

3. If the document you need is before 2022, you can copy the DOI number to sci-hub.
