Paper on a ceramic tea set
China has been a hermit since ancient times. From Boyi and Shu Qi to Ji Kang and Ruan Ji, from Yan Ziling and Tao Yuanming to Wang Chuanshan, they lived a simple life in order not to serve the two kings, or to pursue freedom and stay away from the hubbub. From Laozi and Zhuangzi to "Seven Sages of Bamboo Forest", from the founder of Zen Buddhism to Su Dongpo, from Lin Yutang to Shen Congwen, we all lived a poetic and carefree life. We can't help but admire the great attraction of the carefree realm and feel the pursuit and yearning of our national elite for freedom and the leap of the realm. Western carefree philosophers, from Spinoza to Heidegger, from Wordsworth to Herman and Hesse, from Ye Saining to Salinger, all discovered the inner life of nature and showed their resistance to human alienation.

Modern people under heavy pressure can't follow the example of the ancients, being chic and elegant, forgetting mountains and rivers and thinking about metaphysical life alone. However, with the rapid improvement of the ability to conquer nature and the popularization of high technology, people can stay at home, be familiar with world events, prevent natural disasters to the greatest extent, and consciously cultivate and purify their hearts without relying on foreign objects. At present, the biggest problem is that the subject often ignores the spiritual needs of individuals, and self-reflection, examination and dialogue have become the inner activities of the self-world of a few literati elites. The elites standing on the wave may be involved in the commodity wave at any time, and gradually lose their way and lose themselves. In such a world of hard struggle and lack of spirit, the strong can guide the country and help the world, while the weak can only cultivate their self-cultivation, be independent, create their own pure land in their own world, and tell the sadness of helplessness or incompetence. Free and unfettered is no longer the complete liberation of the soul, but an excuse for being unable to change the living dilemma and escape from reality. Even if you stay away from the noise, you can't reach the transcendental realm of static, empty and far.

We are mediocre and short-sighted, running around for a living every day, worrying about food and clothing, and having no time to talk about leisure. The daydream of an affair is just a topic after dinner. Faced with fast-paced city life, fierce competition for survival, disparity between the rich and the poor, and unfair social distribution, people tend to lose their psychological balance and sink in cursing and sighing. The soul is wandering, the goal of life is unknown, there is no faith, no pursuit. There is bitterness behind the bitter smile, and the seemingly carefree appearance reveals deep despair. Zhuangzi's unconstrained style became wishful thinking, and Li Bai's drunkenness in Chang 'an Avenue was a bit crazy. Confucius said, "Cang Li really knows etiquette." It is difficult to be a Confucian, a hermit and go to heaven.

Thoreau said that "carefree is a great art". I also think that freedom has nothing to do with foreign things. Art depends on eyes to explore, hands to create and soul to discover. An artistic life cannot be separated from an indifferent attitude. Zhou Zuoren's carefree realm of "drinking tea under the tile window, inviting green tea, using elegant ceramic tea sets, and two or three people * * *, can reach ten years of dusty dreams", in fact, as long as we are good at creating, it will also be biased. The rich can sweat profusely on the golf course, and the poor can take a nap in the warm afternoon sun. Literati can awaken the deaf between pen and ink, and ordinary people can also play dreamy movements in pots and pans. Xiaoyao is no longer just an ornamental of literati, but has entered the mass class. Don't you see: people in twos and threes gather in huts on holidays and indulge in mountains and rivers: the family drives in the suburbs and enjoys the warm winter sun; In the bustling city, melodious piano music can also be heard in the leafy square. Tao Yuanming can concentrate on picking chrysanthemums in Nanshan, Wordsworth can sing spoony songs repeatedly by the lake, Wang Wei can relax the bright moon, Heidegger can think about the decline of life, no matter a great man or a mediocre man, as long as he can let go of his mood, leave enough room for himself, live in a turbulent soul, cry heartily, shed wronged tears, laugh heartily and laugh out the bitterness of the world. Reject mediocrity with ordinary years and resist wind and rain with carefree mood. People can actually be happy, but their hearts are too heavy. Faced with a series of pressures such as entering a higher school, looking for a job and buying a house, everyone has had the idea of letting go, just for fun, but few people are really willing to pursue fame and fortune and a quiet mentality.

Zhuang Zhou put forward the idea of "carefree travel", not because he is really a saint, not contaminated with the secular, but more because he saw through the coldness of the world and gave no hope to any monarch. He hates the turbid world, but he can't change it, so he has to immerse himself in the "carefree" state he created for himself. Although "Xiaoyao" has a negative attitude of avoiding the world, we can see Zhuangzi's great ambition.

The world is flashy, and we have been staggered by this materialistic world style. Looking through ancient books, we can find the way out that Zhuangzi prepared for us thousands of years ago. No matter how the world disputes, our hearts can be separated from Zhuangzhou a piece of pure land, which is the place where Tao Yuanming once "picked chrysanthemums under the east fence and saw Nanshan leisurely". ; Li Bai used it: "We sing to the tune of the pine wind; When the stars set, we finished our song. " ;

Liu Yuxi used it to "play the pipa and read the Golden Classics"; Su Shi used it to understand that "people have joys and sorrows, and the moon is full of ups and downs." ..... They have experienced the ups and downs of their official career and the changes of the world, and countless pains and thorns have polished their edges and corners, making them finally become a bright pearl.

Similarly, we still have thorns, and the same stuffing can't go away in this complicated world. Thorns are just bluffing weapons. With the increase of experience and the precipitation of age, they will gradually disappear, and we will understand the true meaning of "freedom" more and more. "Free and unfettered" is not cowardice or timidity, but understanding the truth of life. Zhuangzi spent his whole life, although he didn't reach the realm of happiness, but his heart was quiet and peaceful.

Understanding Laozi and Zhuangzi's philosophy does not mean killing ambition. What is important is an attitude towards life obtained from this philosophy-learning to be "carefree" and not be depressed by foreign things. External things, that is, money, reputation, status ... these external things, you can not take away, even if you die. You don't have to be desperate for them. "Only the breeze on the river, the bright moon in the mountains, the ears for a living, and the eyes and colors intersect."
