He has served as director of the teaching and research section, deputy director and vice president of Wuhan University of Technology, and dean of the Institute of Automation. He is currently the director of the academic Committee of the School of Automation, Wuhan University of Technology. He used to be a member of the national electromechanical teaching steering Committee of colleges and universities. At present, he is also a member of the final jury of China Automobile Industry Science and Technology Progress Award, a member of Hubei Expert Group of National College Students Electronic Competition, an executive director of Hubei Automation Society, an executive director of Hubei System Engineering Society, and a member of Hubei High-tech Industry Development Strategy Research Expert Group. Hosted or participated in more than 20 scientific research projects. Among them, "CNC snake pipe bender (small R upsetting)" won the first prize of scientific and technological progress in Hubei Province. Published more than 40 papers. One is the graduate textbook Electrical Engineering and Optimal Control, and the other is the undergraduate textbook Microcomputer Control Technology.
