In atmospheric optics, Professor Xin Li's research results mainly focus on the study of atmospheric scattering and absorption characteristics and the inversion method of atmospheric optical parameters. His paper "Measurement and Calculation of Rayleigh Scattering Coefficient of Atmospheric Molecules" deeply studies the theory of atmospheric scattering, and puts forward a new scattering model and calculation method.
In environmental optics, Professor Xin Li's research results mainly focus on environmental light pollution, light environment evaluation and light environment simulation.
