Training objectives: This major trains high-level compound talents who have a solid foundation in natural science, social science and professional engineering technology, master economic and management knowledge and methods, and can engage in industrial engineering teaching, scientific research, management and practice.

Training requirements: Students majoring in this major mainly study economics, management, systems engineering, operational research, statistics and one (or more) extensive professional engineering and technical knowledge, and can have the basic skills of engaging in technical and management work in production and operation management departments in enterprises, institutions and other industrial departments, and carrying out systematic analysis, planning, design, control, quality management, evaluation and standardization.
