Master thesis cloud computing
A very popular word since 2008 is "cloud computing". Just like the name of this word, many people feel "at a loss". Another equally important word is called "Web2.0". In fact, Web2.0 itself is an important application of cloud computing. So how to understand cloud computing and Web2.0, and how to link these two words organically? Now let's explain them one by one!

Cloud computing and cloud:

In a narrow sense, cloud computing refers to the way IT infrastructure is delivered and used, and it refers to obtaining the required resources (hardware, platform, software) in an on-demand and extensible way through the network. A network that provides resources is called a "cloud". The resources in the "cloud" can be infinitely expanded by users, and can be obtained at any time, used on demand, expanded at any time, and paid according to use. This feature is often referred to as using IT infrastructure such as water and electricity.

Cloud computing in a broad sense refers to the delivery and use of services, and refers to obtaining the required services in an on-demand and extensible way through the network. This service can be related to IT, software and Internet, or any other service. "Cloud" is some virtual computing resources that can be self-maintained and managed, usually some large server clusters, including computing servers, storage servers, broadband resources and so on. Cloud computing concentrates all computing resources, which are automatically managed by software without manual intervention. This allows application providers to focus more on their own business without worrying about complicated details, which is conducive to innovation and cost reduction. For example, this is like changing from the old single generator mode to the centralized power supply mode of power plants. It means that computing power can also be circulated as a commodity like gas and water and electricity, which is convenient to obtain and low in cost. The biggest difference is spread through the Internet.

Web2.0:

Early Internet applications were very simple, with few forms, mainly static web browsing, sending and receiving emails, chatting and so on. The requirements for Internet infrastructure are also very low. Usually, the user initiates a request and the service responds to the request, which does not have much bandwidth for the server and the network. We call it the Web 1.0 era.

The concept of "Web 2.0" began with a meeting and the brainstorming part of O'Reilly and MediaLive International. Web2.0 is a readable and writable Internet application. In the era of Web2.0, people are the soul. Web2.0 allows many people to participate, and everyone can express their opinions. At present, the popular services on the Internet, such as blog, podcast, wiki, P2P download, community and sharing, all belong to the category of Web2.0. It is worth mentioning that blog is a very important element in Web2.0, because it breaks the information monopoly of portal websites and will play a more important role in future Internet applications.
