Since modern times, salt monographs and investigation reports involving Zigong saltworks have emerged in the cultural and academic fields. At that time, Zigong salt officials also left many writings. In modern times, a large number of professionals engaged in salt industry research appeared. As far as Zigong area is concerned, based on the Zigong Salt History Museum and the China Salt Culture Research Center of Sichuan Institute of Technology, they have been guarding the rich salt culture soil in their hometown for many years, working hard and going all out to turn Zigong into the "China Salt Research Center" in the form of a group.

Among them, Mr. Song Liangxi made outstanding contributions. He is over 70 years old and has been working hard in the field of salt science for decades. He participated in the compilation of many salt works. At the same time, he first published the Collection of Salt History, and then published the book Yandu, collecting achievements from the perspectives of salt science and salt culture respectively. It is a series of valuable social science works. I made a special trip to visit his studio in Nanhu Sports Center with Mr. Li Guiyang. Because of its profound literary skills, it can be reflected in the previous Du Yan's Seven Fu, so many chapters in the book can be regarded as cultural prose, such as Poems of Zigong Salt Merchants, Ancient and Modern Zigong Salt Workers and so on. The pictures in the appendix at the end of the article are precious, many of which are not seen in the modern Zigong salt site that the author is collecting.
