In order to improve the staff's cultural quality, enhance the campus cultural taste, cultivate the staff's good habit of reading consciously and learning independently, and create a healthy and harmonious campus cultural atmosphere, the school has carried out reading activities with the theme of "rationality, sensibility and understanding" for three consecutive semesters since the summer vacation in 2006. I benefited a lot from this activity. Using this winter vacation reading activity, I systematically studied the book "Legal Basis" and benefited a lot. The following are some of my feelings and experiences.

First of all, I have raised some traditional legal concepts from vague perceptual knowledge to clear rational knowledge. Starting with the concept, understand the origin of law and the significance of law in China. Laws are formulated, recognized and guaranteed by the state. It reflects the will of the ruling class under specific living conditions, takes rights and obligations as its content, and aims to confirm, protect and develop the social relations and social order expected by the ruling class. It is the expression of the will of the ruling class. Generally speaking, the role of law can be divided into two aspects: on the one hand, from the perspective that law is people's code of conduct, law has a normative role. This function is realized by guiding your own behavior; Evaluate whether other people's behavior is legal or illegal; Educate ordinary people to understand that behavior is illegal and legal. On the other hand, from the perspective that law is a tool to adjust social relations, law has social functions. This function of law takes place in different fields of politics, economy, thought and culture of a society, and is manifested in different forms. It regulates people's behavior or social relations. In law-making, it is a special activity of a state organ to formulate, amend and abolish laws and other normative legal documents in accordance with legal authority and legal procedures, which is also generally called the activity of formulating, amending and abolishing laws. These are things that have never appeared in my mind. Through the understanding and study of these concepts, the legal framework in my mind is much clearer, which also lays the foundation for me to further learn detailed legal knowledge.
