Elevator is not only an indispensable facility in high-rise buildings, but also an indispensable vertical means of transportation in multi-storey buildings. Based on this, this paper expounds the structure of elevator and the structure and working principle of programmable controller, and designs the elevator control system with Siemens 200 programmable controller for 5 floors and 5 stations. The functions of elevator finger control, recording elevator call instructions in the car and in each floor hall station, controlling elevator running direction and stopping at the floor station, automatic operation and automatic door opening and closing are realized. The elevator control system is applied to the actual running elevator, and the running results show that the elevator control system is safe and reliable, convenient for daily maintenance and troubleshooting, and low in running cost. ?
