2. Music theory, reviews and books.
Since its establishment, Liaoning Musicians Association has organized various seminars on music theory, collected folk songs and discussed songs and lyrics. Some seminars are large in scale, which have a great influence in the whole country and have played a powerful role in promoting the construction of music theory and the prosperity of song creation. For example, it has held four sessions of Shenyang Music Week (the first three sessions were jointly held by the three northeastern provinces), the whole province's light music performance and academic seminar, the national light music seminar, the national young and middle-aged music theorist seminar, the national young and middle-aged music theorist seminar, the national song creation seminar, the theoretical seminar on instrumental music creation in the three northeastern provinces, the Shenyang International Music Festival, and the seventh national music education reform. In terms of music performance, many music performers in Liaoning Province have won awards at home and abroad. For example, Zhang Yansheng of Liaoning Opera House won the first prize in the international vocal opera competition, and won the first prize as the Earl Thomas in the opera "The Queen of Spades". Wu of Shenyang Conservatory of Music won the second place in the 26th Bei Lini International Vocal Competition and the first place in Alcatel Tobas International Vocal Competition. Song Bo won the first place in the domestic trials of the international vocal competition; Tong Min won the first gold medal of vocal performance in the 4th China Music Golden Bell Award. The "Golden Bell Award" of Liaoning Music sponsored by Liaoning Music Association set up performance awards for vocal music and instrumental music, which promoted the cultivation of performance talents in Liaoning music industry. Cangyuan, an opera created and performed by Liaoning Opera House, won the national "Wenhua Award" and all 10 individual awards, which received strong response from the national literary and art circles and was selected as one of the "Top Ten Excellent Dramas of National Stage Art Project" and the "Top Ten Performance Events" of the Second China. Yu Niang, a large-scale opera created and performed by Qianjin Song and Dance Troupe, won the third China Opera (Musical) Unique Drama Award, 7 Best Single Awards, 4 Excellent Awards, China People's Liberation Army Literature Award and Wenhua Drama Award; The dance dramas Erquan Yingyue and Bailuyuan Enniang, which were created and performed by Liaoning Ballet and Liaoning Song and Dance Troupe, are well-known in the dance industry, among which Bailuyuan Enniang won the Excellent Works Award at the 6th China Theatre Festival. Recently, nearly 40 students won the first prize in various national professional competitions under the guidance of our members. For example, Wang Wenjun won the second prize in the "Gulangyu Piano Art Festival National Junior Piano Competition"; Zhou Yunqing won the second place in the third Gulangyu Piano Festival and the National Youth Piano Competition, which is the best achievement of Liaoning Province in the national piano competition of the same level for many years. Yan won the second prize in the fifth "Tianhua Cup" national pipa competition, which was the best performance in our province.
4. Social activities
The Association regularly holds various concerts and performances, such as the concert of hijacked husband's works, the first Shenyang International Music and Cultural Exchange Exhibition, the Vancouver Piano Orchestra, the German Guitar Duet, and the piano master Class of Li Minduo.
The association also participates in organizing large-scale international and domestic music competitions.
