How to use cross-references in papers?
First, open China HowNet, find the document you need to refer to, then click on the reference symbol in the document column (circled in red in Figure 1), then select the reference format you need from the pop-up reference format and copy it.

Open Word and enter text in the document, including titles, numbers, pictures, charts, tables, labels, footnotes, endnotes and other forms.

When using cross-references in papers, we need to pay attention to the consistency and accuracy of the format to avoid mistakes or confusion. At the same time, we must abide by academic norms and citation standards, and we must not copy or plagiarize other people's achievements.

When you use it for the first time, first insert the English square bracket format serial number in word, click the inverted triangle button, and then click to define a new number box. Add the left and right square brackets to the serial number in English numbering format, and then click OK. After adding references at the end of the article, select the corresponding numbering format.
