Dong (1950—) is a male from Jiaxing, Zhejiang. Doctor of Literature, distinguished professor of Nanjing Normal University College, doctoral supervisor of language and literature major in China, director of China Language and Literature Research Center, head of Chinese Department, and concurrently director of Chinese Language Society. Vice President of China Exegetics Research Association and Executive Director of Jiangsu Language Society.

Mainly engaged in the study of China history, exegetics and classical philology. He has successively presided over 2 national social science fund projects, Ministry of Education 1 key social science projects, 3 national university ancient committee projects, and provincial government 1 social science fund projects. He has published monographs such as Legal Interpretation of Function Words in the Middle Ages, Exegesis, Travel Notes of Tang Qiufa, Lexical Research, Language and Proofreading of Middle Ages Literature, and Outline of Lexical Research in the Middle Ages since the 20th Century. , translated L, participated in compiling 4 large-scale Chinese dictionaries, and published more than 220 papers in important academic journals at home and abroad.
