In Xi Academy of Fine Arts, she worked tirelessly to paint, write calligraphy and read a lot of ancient books, and stayed up late every day. She often observes the forest of steles in Xi 'an, and the inscriptions and murals amaze her. For the works of famous artists from all over the world, she repeatedly copied and carefully compared them. In the early 1990s, Ren Rannan went to Foshan to set up an advertising company, engaged in trademark design and production. With diligence and solid painting skills, her design style has been well received by local people. Opportunities are always given to those who are prepared. Calligraphy art has always been a traditional form of art in China, and its extensiveness and practicality have formed an appreciation feature with great formal beauty. Pingyao, an ancient city where Shanxi merchants originated in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, not only left behind the grandeur of the ancient city wall and the magnificence of the murals of Shuanglin Temple, but also inherited the enthusiasm of later generations for culture and art. As a teenager, I was deeply impressed by China's traditional calligraphy styles, such as seal script, official script, regular script, running script and cursive script. She attacked a hundred schools of thought, studied famous inscriptions and visited Liu Gongquan, Ou Yangxun and Wang Xizhi, and gradually realized the true meaning of calligraphy. Later, she formed a stone man's calligraphy style with vigorous brushwork, full of vigor and free and easy atmosphere.
Renran's calligraphy works are free and easy and complacent. In September 2008, she still held the 7th International Photography Exhibition in her hometown Pingyao.
