Introduction: Liu Min, female, Han nationality,1was born in Anhui in February, 1958. She enjoys a special government allowance. At present, he is the director and professor of the dance department of PLA Art College, and a major general of professional technology. She has successively won the title of "Young and Middle-aged" literary and art worker in China, the honorary title of "Excellent Woman Worker" in China, and the "March 8th Red Flag Bearer" of the whole army, and won the second-class merit. He is a member of the Eighth, Ninth and Tenth National Committees of China People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Science, Education, Culture, Health and Sports Committee of China People's Political Consultative Conference, a vice chairman of the National Dancers Association, a member of the Seventh National Committee of the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a member of the evaluation committee of senior professional positions in the art series of the whole army, a director of the China International Cultural and Art Exchange Center, a director of the All-China Women's Development Foundation, and a visiting professor at Beijing Dance Academy, Beijing International Art School, Northwest Second Nationalities College and Anhui Art College.

Liu Min said, "The luckiest thing in a person's life is to choose what he likes to do. Dancing is the passion of my life. " Liu Min's plays play an important role in contemporary dance history. Over the past 30 years, Liu Min has starred in solo dances, duets and dance dramas such as Cut the String, Wedding on the Execution Ground, Wedding of Zhao Jun, Monument Without Words, Sister Xianglin, Call for Spring, Butterfly to Heaven and Mother of the Yellow River, and has created a large number of works.

After graduating from primary school, Liu Min was admitted to the dance class of Anhui Art School. 1978, Liu Min was admitted to the Song and Dance Troupe of the General Political Department with excellent results. 1September, 1986, Liu Min and Wang Mingzhu tied for the first place in the first "Peach and Plum Cup" national dance competition. The following year, they participated in the dance competition of the whole army, and Liu Min won the first place in the total score of male and female players. From 1994 to 1998, when Liu Min's career was brilliant, her husband was sent to the U.S. embassy as the minister's cultural counselor. After suffering, Liu Min started from scratch, and Liu Min began to watch performances everywhere. She must have seen a Broadway show. During his stay in the United States, Liu Min gave lectures and academic exchanges in universities and middle schools in American cities, and performed in the World International Wushu Championships and the United Nations delegation. The three Liu Min dance parties held by the Embassy were highly praised by mainstream Americans.

Liu Min also paid a heavy price for her passionate dance career. The long and hard training left many scars on her. As early as a check-up many years ago, doctors found that Liu Min's waist joints, knee joints and foot joints were covered with scars, as well as stomach problems and heart diseases. On one occasion, 199 1, when Liu Min visited the troops stationed in Shaanxi with the Song and Dance Troupe of the General Political Department, he was suddenly informed that the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, CCTV and other units jointly held a large-scale song and dance evening of "Love in the Straits" and invited Liu Min to star in "Sister Xianglin". Liu Min returned to Beijing overnight to perform before leaving the stage. That day, Liu Min was very absorbed in her performance. When she was performing Xianglinsao's feeling of helplessness and anger, she made several spins and somehow fell under the orchestra pit. The orchestra pit is more than two meters deep. Liu Min was unconscious on the spot. The staff carried Liu Min backstage. Listening to the sound of an ambulance outside the theater, Liu Min opened his eyes and danced for three minutes. Although the staff and teachers tried to dissuade Liu Min, as a soldier, Liu Min showed amazing tenacity at this time. Standing on the stage, Liu Min's hand holding the microphone was shaking: "I won't allow me to leave my broken art to the audience! I want to dedicate perfection to God-you. " Liu Min shed tears, the theater was boiling, and Liu Min finished the dance. After being taken to the hospital, the doctor diagnosed that Liu Min had a concussion and dislocated cervical vertebrae. The injury made Liu Min undergo long-term treatment for more than two years before he returned to the stage again.

1September, 1999, Liu Min was transferred as the deputy director of the Dance Department of the PLA Art College, and now he is the director of the Dance Department. From performing groups to teaching units, from actors to leaders, Liu Min has made a beautiful transition. While working in the Art College of the People's Liberation Army, Liu Min presided over the sixth "Peach and Plum Cup" competition of the China Youth Art Competition, and served as the general planner and artistic director. He led the contestants to win 6 gold medals in the performance category and 1 gold medal in the repertoire creation category, achieving a breakthrough in the gold medal in the national dance competition in the past 15 years.
