First, it's important to keep a correct attitude.
At present, we are vigorously promoting quality education and advocating "taking students as the main body" and "all for students, for all students, for all students". However, it is undeniable that both schools and teachers are under great pressure-schools with high test scores are good schools, and teachers who can teach students with high scores are good teachers, which has become a recognized educational norm in society. Therefore, the leading role of teachers' absolute authority and the main role of students' mechanical obedience have become an unchangeable fact in education. Under the domination of this extremely abnormal teacher-student relationship, students' instrumental value is excessively raised, while their ontological value as human beings is weakened. The emotional and ethical relationship between teachers and students is interpreted as a tragedy in some places: corporal punishment and insulting students are legal, and reprimanding and despising students has become a common practice ... These not only seriously hurt the feelings between teachers and students, but also sacrifice the dignity and long-term development of children, which seriously violates the basic principles of quality education. Therefore, in my opinion, to establish a correct view of students, teachers should first correct their own mentality, put aside personal gains and losses, honor and disgrace, and treat students with a normal heart. Teachers' views and attitudes towards students will not only affect students' growth, but also directly affect teachers' own mental health. Only by treating students correctly and accepting students, especially teachers who are underachievers, can we maintain a psychological balance and maintain a positive and optimistic mood in work, study and life.
Second, treat students correctly and know them.
With the development of the times, there are great differences between students today and students in the past in their outlook on life and values. Therefore, understanding students' personality characteristics, views on things and value orientation will be of great help to establish a correct view of students. In addition, we also need to realize that:
Students are developing people. Our view of students should be "born with talent, born with talent will be useful." Every student has the potential to succeed and become a useful person to society. If they can develop well in knowledge, ability, emotion and attitude under the correct education and guidance of teachers, I believe they will succeed in a certain field in the future. We should look at students from a long-term development perspective, and also use this concept to educate students.
2. Students are unique people, and different students have personality differences. We should not only recognize the differences among students, but also cherish and develop their different resources in order to teach students in accordance with their aptitude. Different students' temperament, personality, attitude, emotion, ability and interest determine that different students should take different paths. Our basic education is not just to send students to college, but to tap everyone's potential, lay a good foundation for each student's life and success, and let everyone find their proper position in this vast world.
Students should be allowed to make mistakes. Middle school students are often physically mature and psychologically independent. However, due to their lack of social experience, the ability to judge the right and wrong of social phenomena, the ability to choose different things and the correct understanding and judgment of themselves, it is normal for students to have problems of one kind or another. Students' problems are "students' problems", and we should prevent students' problems from becoming adults. Teachers should not only look at problems from the perspective of teachers, but also from the perspective of students, and treat students who make mistakes with understanding and tolerance. This is very helpful for us to deal with these problems correctly. At this time, students not only need self-study and self-improvement, but also need the help and teaching of teachers.
At present, the new curriculum reform puts forward new requirements for education, advocating the cultivation of people with ideals, morality, knowledge, ability, creativity and healthy physical and mental development. It not only emphasizes people's all-round development, but also attaches importance to people's personality development. So, what kind of student view should we establish?
1. Treat students sincerely and awaken inner conscience with love.
Makarenko, an educator in the former Soviet Union, believed that "without love, there would be no education". In my opinion, when we teachers get along with students, we should treat each student sincerely, treat them as "people equal to ourselves" and change our hearts; Respect students and treat every student equally, so that they can truly feel the care and love of teachers and the acceptance of classmates and class groups. This is to love students.
2. Protect students' self-esteem and treat punishment correctly.
Suhomlinski said: "We should protect students' young hearts as carefully as dew on the lotus leaf. The real educational wisdom lies in that teachers never hurt students' self-esteem, but often inspire them to be good students. " Punishment is a common means and method for teachers to treat students who make mistakes in school education. Psychology has proved that punishment is also a strategy to arouse students' enthusiasm. If properly used, it can make students distinguish right from wrong, good from evil, stimulate students' sense of shame and guilt about wrong behavior, and regard punishment as a spur to progress and a new starting point for progress. Moderate punishment is also love for students. Education without punishment is incomplete education. But we must be careful not to turn punishment into corporal punishment, which will not only fail to achieve good results, but will seriously undermine the relationship between teachers and students.
3. Encourage appreciation and promote students' progress.
Appreciation is a kind of beauty edification, and all students want to be appreciated, trusted and encouraged. The most essential need of human beings is the desire to be affirmed. Students have strong self-esteem and are eager for praise. Teachers who know how to appreciate children will meet their psychological needs and let them have a happy inner experience. Therefore, in the usual education and teaching, we should treat students with appreciation, be good at grasping their bright spots, give encouragement and praise in time, and let students believe that "I can do it, I will do it". This will definitely play the role of "sneaking into the night with the wind and moistening things silently".
In short, in today's implementation of quality education, we must break the traditional concept of teachers' dignity, establish an equal, democratic, respectful and friendly relationship between teachers and students, and constantly improve our own quality in education and teaching practice, and we will certainly cultivate high-quality talents that meet the needs of society.
