Mainly engaged in undergraduate teaching, taught water quality analysis, general chemistry, inorganic chemistry, water chemistry and analysis, water analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, environmental monitoring, environmental chemistry, water treatment microbiology and environmental engineering microbiology. He presided over the completion of the college-level teaching reform project of "Environmental Monitoring Curriculum Construction" and participated in the research work of the school-level teaching reform project of "Environmental Science Specialty Construction Evaluation System".

Mainly engaged in environmental monitoring, analysis, environmental pollution control and resource research.
Engaged in the following scientific research activities:
(1) 1998 participated in the project "mediator modified biosensor and commercialization technology" funded by the Natural Science Fund of the Provincial Education Commission.
(2) 1999 presided over the college-level project "Study on rapid determination method of COD in environmental water samples".
(3) In 2002, he participated in the project "Study on the Treatment and Resource Utilization of Urban Domestic Sewage by DATB+CW Combined Process" funded by the Provincial Department of Education.
