The training goal of higher vocational education is to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled professionals who are needed by the front line in the fields of manufacturing and service, develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, have the basic skills and preliminary ability to engage in practical work in their own professional fields, master the necessary basic theoretical knowledge and professional knowledge, and have good professional ethics and professionalism.

Therefore, it is particularly important to create new contents of professional ethics education in the professional courses of higher vocational education, ensure the continuous development of professional ethics education in the process of talent training, and urge students to meet the requirements of prospective employees in enterprises when they graduate. This paper takes the mechanical design and manufacturing specialty of Tangshan Industrial Vocational and Technical College as an example to elaborate.

Under the guidance of the Professional Construction Committee, a professional ethics research society composed of full-time teachers, business practice experts, professional ethics experts, moral education teachers, counselors and other personnel was established. On the basis of extensive demand survey of many enterprises with different specifications, levels and properties, this paper analyzes the characteristics of students of different grades, and systematically designs and studies the teaching content of professional ethics education in professional personnel training.

Taking mechanical manufacturing and automation as an example, the professional post groups are mainly mechanical equipment assemblers, mechanical equipment operators, mechanical equipment operators, installation and commissioning workers and equipment management and sales personnel. A large number of investigations have been made on employees, working environment and jobs in manufacturing enterprises, and the training objectives of professional ethics education have been determined.
