Recently, some netizens broke the news that Qiu Sijun, Ph.D., majoring in social management and social policy, School of Social Development and Public Policy, Fudan University, plagiarized the paper "Interest Game: Research on the Implementation of Vocational Education Policy in China" written by Dr. Qi, School of Education, Tianjin University, which caused controversy.

On the night of 17, Weibo, the official of Fudan University, responded that the Academic Standards Committee of Fudan University had received relevant reports before and initiated investigation procedures. At present, relevant investigations are underway. If plagiarism is found to be true, the school will deal with it seriously according to the regulations on the implementation of academic norms of Fudan University.

"No.1 of 2007" reported that since May this year, the Academic Standardization Committee of Fudan University has received three reports of academic irregularities, namely, anonymous reports of serious plagiarism of textbooks compiled by Professor Lu and others from the School of Foreign Languages, anonymous reports of plagiarism of Professor Chi and others from the Otolaryngology Hospital, and reports of plagiarism of two papers by Dr. Ye and his tutor Gu from the School of Information.

The Academic Norms Committee of Fudan University conducted corresponding investigation, verification and deliberation according to the relevant requirements, regulations and investigation procedures of the Measures for Handling Academic Norms and Violations in Fudan University (Trial) (hereinafter referred to as the Norms).
