The art of the Tang Dynasty left a deep impression on the traditional culture of China, and its integration with the modern cultural industry played a positive role in inheriting and carrying forward the traditional culture. Combining the artistic elements of the Tang Dynasty organically in the field of animation character design can broaden the design ideas, enrich the connotation of the works and play a better role in improving the overall presentation effect of the works. This paper mainly analyzes the integration of artistic elements in the design of animated characters in the Tang Dynasty, analyzes its cultural connotation and significance, and puts forward various practical strategies in order to further improve the effect of animated character design.
