What are the contents of SF6 gas supervision and detection in GIS?
5. 1.3 sulfur hexafluoride gas supervision

5. 1.3. 1 sulfur hexafluoride is the main insulation medium and arc extinguishing medium of gas insulation equipment (SF6 circuit breaker, GIS, SF6 gas insulation transformer, SF6 gas insulation transformer), and the insulation performance and arc extinguishing performance of sulfur hexafluoride gas insulation equipment are closely related to the quality of sulfur hexafluoride gas. Sulfur hexafluoride gas will produce a variety of toxic and corrosive gases and solid decomposition products in production and equipment operation, which not only affects the performance of electrical equipment, but also endangers the safety of equipment operation and maintenance personnel. The supervision of SF6 gas is very important for the safe operation of SF6 gas insulation equipment.

5. 1.3.2 The scope of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas supervision includes fresh gas, operating gas and gas supervision in equipment maintenance. The supervision of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas should be combined with the Technical Supervision Regulations of High Voltage Switchgear of State Grid Corporation of China and other relevant equipment technical supervision regulations.

5. 1.3.3 Personnel engaged in sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas supervision and detection must hold corresponding post qualification certificates issued by the industry.

5. 1.3.4 supervision of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) fresh gas

(1) After the new sulfur hexafluoride gas arrives, check the paint color, safety accessories, analysis report and non-toxic certificate of the gas cylinder. Within one month after the arrival of the new gas, it shall be sent to the relevant testing institutions for sampling testing in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Technical Management Rules for Safety in the Use of Sulfur Hexafluoride Gas Cylinders and Gases and the GB 8905 Guidelines for Gas Management and Testing in Sulfur Hexafluoride Electrical Equipment.

(2) After the gas cylinders are accepted, they should be transferred to a cool and dry special place and stored upright. Untested fresh gas cannot be stored in the same room as qualified gas to avoid confusion.

(3) Fresh gas imported from abroad should also be checked and accepted according to the quality standard of fresh gas.

(4) When sulfur hexafluoride gas is stored in a gas cylinder for more than half a year, the humidity and air content should be rechecked before the sulfur hexafluoride gas chamber is inflated, and all indicators should meet the new gas standards.

5. 1.3.5 Quality supervision of sulfur hexafluoride working gas

(1) The sulfur hexafluoride gas in use shall be inspected according to the relevant provisions of DL/T 596 Preventive Test Regulations for Power Equipment. Units with sulfur hexafluoride equipment should be equipped with sulfur hexafluoride leak detector and micro-water tester, and they should be calibrated regularly.

(2)SF6 gas insulated power equipment handover maintenance, equipment should be SF6 gas humidity measurement test and leak detection test, SF6 density relay and pressure gauge should be calibrated.

(3) SF6 gas-insulated power equipment in operation shall be subjected to SF6 gas humidity measurement test, leak detection test and calibration test of density relay and pressure gauge according to DL/T 596 Preventive Test Regulations for Power Equipment, and the indication range of density relay and pressure gauge of SF6 gas-insulated power equipment shall be recorded at least once a month.

(4) The control value of sulfur hexafluoride moisture is the measured value when the ambient temperature is 20℃. It is forbidden to test at the ambient temperature below zero, and the values measured at other test temperatures should be corrected by appropriate methods.

5. 1.3.6 sulfur hexafluoride gas supervision during equipment disintegration:

(1) Before the equipment is disassembled and overhauled, gas detection shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of IEC480 "Guidelines for Detection of Sulfur Hexafluoride Gas in Electrical Equipment" and DL/T596 "Provisions on Preventive Testing of Electrical Equipment", and the gas in the equipment shall not be directly discharged into the atmosphere.

(2) The used sulfur hexafluoride gas should be completely recovered by the gas recovery device, and the recovered gas should be put into a container with obvious signs for treatment.

(3) When necessary, the gas inspection before equipment disassembly and maintenance can be reinspected by relevant inspection units, and the special items and requirements of inspection can be agreed with grass-roots units.

(4) When sulfur hexafluoride gas from different producing areas and different manufacturers needs to be mixed when supplying gas for electric equipment, it shall be implemented according to the provisions on mixed gas in DL/T 596 Preventive Test Regulations for Electric Equipment.
