What should I do if the word document displays compatibility mode?
1. First, we click the "Start /Word" menu item in turn on the computer to open the highest version of Word currently installed on the computer.

2. Next, in the open Word window, click the menu item "Open Other Documents".

3. Select the Word document to edit in the pop-up menu, and you can see the words "Compatibility Mode" displayed in the status bar above.

4. Next, in the open Word editing window, we click the "File" menu in the upper left corner.

5. Next, in the open file drop-down menu, we click the "Information" menu item in the left sidebar, and then click the "Compatibility Mode" icon on the right.

6. Next, a prompt will pop up to confirm the upgrade to the latest file format, and click OK.
